Christmas Cozy At Home

Here's some pictures of Christmas decorations around my home.  They are pretty much the same as last year, with a couple new items here and there.   I love nutcrackers, but only have one, and it just happens to match my couches.

I collect snow globes, and they are one of my favorite things to put out every year.  Surprisingly, they all play "We wish you a Merry Christmas."

A bit of silver and blue.

I made a little Francesca corner.  I put my frosty people on the dresser and a new ornament for baby.  Next year, I'm going to fill the dresser with children's books.  I still have old books that I read to my kids when they were little.

I bought this lantern at Pier 1 Imports a few years ago, and I keep it out all year long.

I have to have a bit of whimsical too.

This 'Family'  block is very old.  It's made out of marble and has sayings about family on every side.

I found the exact red balls that my mom used to put on her tree.  I placed them in a glass bowl that belonged to someone dear to me.

I bought this Santa music box when my son was little.  I thought I'd put it out this year because it reminds me of Francesca.  I might paint the child's pajamas pink....still pondering about that.

Lots of Christmas goodies around here too.  My son baked sugar cookies, an apple crisp, chocolate chip cookies, and Russian tea cookies.  Yummy!
I made a squash bake that turned out pretty good, and I've been enjoying this orange tea lately.

Stay merry friends!

I love your snow globes, Sheri. The one with the birds on the branches is quite unique. I also love that you are going to fill your dresser with children's books. It will be so much fun for you as you look for the special books for your Francesca. Merry Christmas, my friend. ♥

Hello dearest Sheri! Keeping merry....yes. We are just thankful to be alive, to have jobs, to have one another, to have this one chance of a lifetime. Be well my sweet.

Oh Sheri. Everything looks wonderful! And oh, those cookies. Yummy yum yum. So sweet. The little girl figure with the wreath is one I have, too, except my girl is dressed in pink instead of blue. Isn't that a hoot? Hope you have a delightful Sunday. Much love, Susan

Sheri, everything looks so wonderful. I love it all. I have set here every night enjoying my tree and right now I am thinking that I will take down the ornaments but I think I will leave the tree out for awhile. It gives me a peaceful feeling! Thanks for sharing all your sweet keepsakes.

Oh I use to drink that tea before I became a tea snob. It was good. Love your Francesca center. It is so fun to have a little area for grandchildren. Snowglobes and a nutcracker, plus lanterns are the best for Christmas and all year long if you enjoy them.
