Deck the Halls

Things are getting glittery around here...

I made this simple but pretty wreath with extra clippings from the Christmas tree.

The fireplace mantle is home to my favorite holiday treasures.

A couple touches of Christmas sparkle around the kitchen...

And some surprises under the tree.

The halls are decked, and I'm feeling pretty merry.

Nel, It is so pretty in your home. I love that you used the clippings to make a decoration. I trim bits and pieces off the pines here to make some outdoor decorations. I am so cheap. LOL. Oh that chess set, looks so nice. Blessings sweet girl, xoxo, Susie

That's a great idea! I heard that if you go to Home Depot or any place really that is selling trees, they'll give you the branches they cut off of trees they sell. I love that little "Noel" sign on your mantle and all of your treasures on there.

It's nice to see these treasures that you've had for so many years. Oh, the Snowman! - that reminded me of you when I saw it. I'm glad you still put it out. I love the glittery Santa letters. Are those new? And you still have Grandma's Santa! I gave mine away years ago, and kind of regret it. aahh, the north pole village house - how many years has that been with you? I think that may be your oldest piece. : )

Very pretty and festive at your place, Nel. Christmas decor that has been collected through the years is the most special. You have many treasures that made me smile. I like that you fashioned a lovely swag for your door with clippings from the tree! Also, that chess set under the tree looks quite interesting! Have a wonderful Christmas! ♥

I love your swag. It's gorgeous. Oh, Sheri, everything is! And it is such fun to see treasures that are important to you and how they become part of your world at Christmas. You must just love being home as much as you can -- who wouldn't in such a spot!
