In Town And TV Dads

Some flowers I noticed in town.  I believe this is the yellow Yarrow plant.

A healthy meal of chicken and veggies, and a salad.

I collect miniature garden items, as someday I want to create a fairy garden.  I thought this tree was so delightful.

Here is the Pioneer wagon on the main street of town all decorated for the 4th of July.

Speaking of the 4th, do you like my new cup?  My mom used to love Eclairs.  This is only a petite Eclair, but she used to get the big ones with chocolate icing, stuffed with whipped cream in the middle that were Yummy.

I shared with you recently my favorite tv moms, and now I want to share some of my favorite tv dads that I loved watching throughout the years.

*Tony Micelli

*John Walton

*Andy Taylor

and my favorite of all....

*Charles Ingalls

I had a pretty great Dad myself.  There were five of us.  I was the youngest, and my oldest brother wasn't in the picture.

Have a lovely weekend.

Es bonito el árbol. Debe de ser del gusto de muchos niños.

Feliz fin de semana. Un abrazo.

These were great T.V. Dads for sure! I could not find the yellow plant anywhere on Google! I had thought it is Wild Mustard, but it is not! I found the trees with the faces! Got a big one that lights up and a little one. Had to go to FOUR Dollar Generals!

Dearest Sheri,
Lovely flowers and also the patriotic colors near the pioneer wagon.
Sure those chocolate Eclairs were always so good!
From those TV Dads I only know Andy Taylor and Michael Landon (born Eugene Maurice Orowitz. His Father was Jewsih and his Mother Catholic.
That's what we watched in Europe as I did not grow up here...
You being the youngest is also different from me being the 2nd (alive) of eight.
Hugs,
Mariette

I would vote for good old Andy Taylor. And yes, on Charles Ingalls. John Walton Jr. was a favorite. He reminded me so much of my dad, who grew up in an area of East Tennessee and lived a similar life. He even kind of looked like my dad, so yes, I am very fond of John Walton Jr.

His dad, Zebulon Walton, was funny and a lot mischievous, but he was a notable "granddad" in his own right.

The yellow flower also exists in Greece.
All the flowers are beautiful!
I like the dad from little house on the prairie better than the dads!
Lovely photo of your family Sherι🧡

I really enjoyed this post. The flowers are so beautiful and I too am an eclair lover! Now the tv fathers all of there except Charles Ingall's are my favorite too. I still watch reruns of The Andy Griffith Show and my absolute favorite, The Waltons!! Tony Micelli was very funny!! For some reason, I just never liked Little House on the Prairie. Can't believe we are already seeing decorations for July 4th . Have a great weekend!

Now those are some great dads! I watched all those shows growing up, as I figure most folks did. Great job. Love the red, white and blue. I left my Memorial Day door decor up for July 4th, which will be here soon.

Every summer has a story - I like that.
The first picture of a flower in yellow - is that a weed? LOL
Love the flowers though.
Interesting having broccoli and chicken it did look good.
I like your little tree.
My favorite is the red - white - and blues. I love America and anything that color is fine with me - I am glad they are decorating the area up.
I love John W., Andy, Charles I. I think they were great examples of dads. Not sure about Toni - lol.
I wish I had a family of 5 siblings - you are so lucky.
I hope you have an exciting summer.

Hey Sheri. I love your new cup. I think it is so neat when towns decorate and plan for celebrations for Holidays. I so enjoy seeing the RED WHITE and BLUE. Beautiful Yellow flowers!. Those are some great pictures of TV dads. So loving and so kind. Father's Day is a special day and even though mine is now in Heaven, I celebrate him with sweet memories. Fairy Gardens are big in our area. I need to start me one. Enjoyed your post...

Gotta love Tony Danza. The little tree would look great in a fairy garden. Lovely flowers.

Oh my word, I LOVE eclairs, especially with the whipped cream inside and not the custard. I haven’t had one in years!! Your new cup is darling. My own dear dad has been gone for 36 years now and my hubby for almost 11. 😞

Tony!!!!!! Who's the Boss is my favorite!!!!! I literally just found all the seasons on Hulu and am loving watching them with Flynn. I know every single episode by heart. They were my family when I was away at college. I watched them anytime I could find them. I am much like Angela! And I love how Tony says, " Samantha!" Thanks for sharing!

That wagon is wonderful but so are all the photos. I loved seeing the TV dads. Do you follow Laura Ingalls Gunn's decortoadore.net? She is a direct descendant and if you scroll down you will see several posts about her participation in the reunion tours of the Little House casts. They are fascinating posts if that was a fave of yours!

My fave pic was the one of you with yuor dad and siblings. Love that sailor suit!
