Just Because

Not much going on lately,
as we've had rain
all week!
Here's a few pics of
this and that.

This little guy is
surviving the winter months.

Not sure what this
fountain is all about, as I
see it sometimes
at a church in my town.

Follow the white brick road.

Don't ya love when
Starbucks comes out with
their festive cups?

Camellias at the store.
Everything is looking pretty
around here because
of all the rain.

This really old building
was turned into
a place which is now
'wine night.'

There are no roses
left at the Rose Garden,

only a few cheerful flowers.

Went back to Target
and got a few more felt envelopes,
and a card in the mail
from a blog friend.

I'll leave you with a song
I heard the other day.
My dad loved this song.
It's upbeat, and just right for
Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day,
mom and dad!

What a sweet photo of the Blue Bird! I also love the pink camellia blossoms. We are seeing camellias in bloom here, along with jonquils and forsythia. I have seen what they call a rolling marble ball fountain, they are quite pretty. Here is a link to a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiPMz0SeT6Q
I enjoyed the Nat King Cole video - haven't heard that in a long time!
Wishing you all a lovely remainder of the weekend!

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE is what we live for and die for. Oh yes, L.O.V.E. is all we can give away. Sheri, that bluebird is darling, and your landscapes are promising! We are getting a huge thaw and the birds were even singing yesterday. Love you dear, dear friend!

Some day I will see a bird that is blue (that isn't a blue jay). This is so pretty. I love these kinds of photo stories -- a life in pictures. And again, those blue envelopes are wonderful.

You take really great pictures, Sheri. I love the picture of the blue bird. What a pretty little fellow he is. That fountain is really cool...we saw a big one like that in Gatlinburg, TN, too, and I was fascinated by it.
Hope you have a great Sunday and it is wonderful to see your sweet face!!!!! xo Diana

I love seeing you!! You are such a doll and you have brightened up this gray, gray day.
Do you know I just love, love camellias! They don't look real do they do? Sort of like a paper flower and magical too.
Thinking of you dear Sheri!
Love,
Jemma

My mom grew the best camellias when we lived in California. She never had to do a thing and four shrubs had loads of them every year. She must have had them in just the right spot. We lived there in Concord from 1955-198-something. I love seeing yours!

Oh I love that little birdie. They remind me to sing.
And the flowers, can't get enough ...and the more colorful these days, the better.
Always a pleasure visiting with you, my friend, especially when you share your warm smile.
Happy Valentine's Day!
xoxo
Oh! Yes I love Starbuck's cheerful seasonal cups.

I haven't thought of that song in years but well remember him singing it. It's simple love songs like that tug at the heartstrings. This made me remember the special love songs my mom and dad loved, with them it was the Glen Miller songs that were "their" songs.

One of my cousins commented today on FB that she was so happy to see all the posts about love today, instead of the political bickering and she wished it could be that way all the time. I agree. Wish it could.

Your enjoyment of the ordinary everyday beauty all around you helps dilute the bad stuff too, Sheri. Thank you.

Hi Sheri. Thx for the Nat King Cole...his voice was always like fluid silk to me. So is that old building a winery now or more like a wine bar? I'd love to know more.
