They are BIG, and you can put notes, cards, and letters inside. I filled mine with special cards from Nel and Jess, sister, best friend, and a few blog friends.
When I was little, I didn't get that many toys, but my mom did buy me colored construction paper, felt, scissors, glue to be creative and make things. As soon as I got the paper, I went to town making festive cards and notes, especially around the holidays.
I came across this card I made for my dad at 10 years old, and I was surprised that he kept it all those years. I used macaroni shells on it. It's faded and smudged, but it's a part of my childhood, so I'll keep it always.
I think these felt envelopes would be so nice for Nel and Jess to put their wedding keepsakes in. They were only $1, so I may go back and get a couple more.

Oh, Sheri...
I love this envelope! I am a particular fan of this colour combination, mainly because my dear Mom is and has decorated her kitchen with turquoise and red as well as touches of pink...♥
Aww...I love discovering things I made years and years ago for a loved one...they sure make me smile!
Love to you!

Oh- Aren't those cute? I might go buy one just so I can use it as a pattern to make them in other colors. That is darling though just as is.

Hi Sheri,
The envelopes are so pretty and love these colours together - was watching a Jamie Oliver cooking show and he had these colours going on in his kitchen. Very sweet card you made for your Dad and lovely to have this to keep.
Happy Thursday

What a sweet envelope! I adore the card you made for your father. So sweet and I'm sure one you will always keep. I must go to Target to see if they have these at our store. Enjoy a happy day, dear Sheri. ♥
I love this envelope and may look around here for some. I also love that card you made for your dad. So sweet, and I bet he cherished it. We didn't get many toys either but really enjoyed being creative. Coloring Books were the trend back then and paper dolls. Hope you've had an enjoyable day my sweet friend. Love, xo
Sheri, That is a great idea to save the nicest things in your envelope. I love the little card you made your father. It must have meant a lot to him. Hope you get some sunshine this week. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie
These are so pretty. I wish we had a Target close by...I think it has some of the best $1 buys! And the macaroni card you made is so precious! I love special memories like this one! How sweet you are! Hugs, Diane
Such sweet envelopes. Perfect for keepsakes like you said. LOVE the macoroni card.
You are very creative. I like the card you made for your dad, you're giving me idea on how to be more creative:)
Have a blessed February ahead!
I need to get over to Target; they have some fun seasonal stuff for inexpensive prices! And I love these two colors together....so happy!
I am enjoying combining these two colors together too! I just made some little DIY flower pots using this combination. It's just right for both of us for an early Spring treat!
Happy Day dear Sheri,
Love,
Jemma
That is so cute... love Target for seasonal stuff. Happy February Sheri !
XOXO
Those are adorable. I didn't see those at my Target -- I'll have to check again. Yes, wonderful for keepsakes or a home made valentine.
I just found some of my oldies that I gave to my parents and grandparents as a kid. Of course they're in the house!
I think those colours work well together.
Perfect felt envelopes for some Keepsakes, a great idea.
Happy February to you, may it be a good month
All the best Jan
Ohhhhhhhhhh I want some. I love those colors. My kitchen is a seafoam green with pops of red.
Hi Sheri,
You tell me we can find many precious and lovely things in daily life. The key is the sensitivity we have.
Hi Dear Sheri....I like the felt envelopes. Nice! You were a crafty critter even as a little girl. How sweet your card to your Daddy was. Thanks for your visits to my posts, too. Love when you stop by. By the way, the lamps on our hall table are cranberry (with knobs.) They are definitely different from milk glass. Actually, though, I love both cranberry and milk glass. Hugs. Susan
Hello,
What a lovely idea. I just love the card you made your dad.
Sweet as can be.
Love, Carla
OMGosh dearest Sheri!
Those dollar bins at Target are the best!
...and the felt envelopes are perfect little souvenir keepers!
How sweet is your macaroni art! You need to keep your eye out for a shadow box to hold it and style it into your kitchen.
