A Little Story
I went to the mailbox early in the morning on Valentine's Day, and saw a card from Jess. I said to myself, "I'm going to open it after I get my coffee so I can enjoy it" (I didn't notice the back of the card that said "open when you wake up on Valentine's Day"). So, I got my coffee and goodie and went to the park and opened up Jess' card. Inside the card was a Starbuck's card! I smiled big because she knew exactly what I'd like, and even though I couldn't use it at that particular time, I'll use it sometime soon. : )

Oh Karen, I'm not too far away from Jess, so I see her often, and my son lives in the same town; it's only Nel who lives in Georgia right now. She got a job offer that she couldn't pass up, but it will only be for a year or so, then she's back to Calif. : )

My husband surprised me with a mini-rose plant and a box of thin mint cookies from thegirlscouts. I LOVE those cookies.

That is so sweet Sheri, I could cry :) I wonder if my kids would do that too when they're living on their own. I got flowers and chocolates on Valentine's day but we just stayed home, nevertheless, it was good as long as it's spent with family. Love this post as usual.

I love surprises like this! 3/4 of my children have moved away so I just have one daughter left here and she is very busy. I love opening up the mailbox and finding sweet surprises from my sweet girls!
