March Moments

The snow has melted, and the sun came out a few days.  It rained Saturday night with a strong wind coming through.  I felt it, and I could hear the wind rustling through the window and doors.  Have you ever tried Andes mints?  They are one of my favorites.

Through the window at my neighbor's feeder.

These guys are coming around more lately.   My neighbor told me that they come in her yard, up the trees, and get pretty close to her.   They don't bother her.  Well, she can have them, as I want nothing to do with them.  ; )

And now, here's my Easter mantel.  The color Purple always suits me at Eastertime.  In Catholicism, Purple is closely associated with Advent and Lent.

Can you believe Mia is starting to play soccer?  She had a fun first day, but the kids are all so small, that they just ran around the field and did warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages.

Have a delightful March week.

Oh my heart just wants to cry looking at sweet Mia's smile...what a darling child, Sheri! Already a soccer girl! And you should have seen what I saw in my neighbor's yard this morning: WILD TURKEYS!! I saw them yesterday across the street walking in one straight line, following the leader who had his tail feathers fanned out like a Thanksgiving turkey icon. WILD!

AND....the squirrels....we have so many of them, you'd scream!

Oh Mia is so cute - she looks just like her mom!
I love Andes' mints too. They are not so easy to get here.
The hummingbirds are out there already? And squirrels - we don't have gray ones we have brown ones and they got in the house - in the attic - and it took years to get them out and thousands of dollars! I hate squirrels.
The color of purple is in the Methodist church as well,
Lastly those bunnies are stretching like I need to do!
Pretty post. Have a good week.

Andes mints are wonderful and I especially love the "do your best" cup. Your mantel is looking lovely. It's nice to see spring emerge! Happy week, Sheri!

Love your bunny things! WOW....hummingbirds already. We don't start seeing them till maybe April or May. I love hummingbirds. We got snow Friday. Hoping that is the last.

Awww, yay for Mia!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Hope she enjoys it! Love those "yoga" bunnies. Too cute. Andes mints are delicious. I think I'd have to drop one or two in my coffee if they got that close to my cup (did you?)! I love purple. Good choice for your Easter decor touches. Reminds us of our King!✝

Isn't it sad that squirrels are so annoying? They sure are cute, though. And you got some great shots of that little guy. Take care, dear Sheri! πŸ’–

What joyful photos of Mia!! Your mantel is so elegant, with the goose and rabbit. Your squirrel and hummer pics are so clear and sharp. And they can both move so FAST!!

Mia will enjoy soccer, no matter if she is good or not! I love that 4-5 yr. old children run around in clumps whether the ball is there or not.

Oh Sheri,
Mia is simply adorable! I know at this age they are out there just to run and have fun. Lily is in T-Ball, and it is so cute to watch.
I love your Easter mantel, and the hummingbird is one of my favorite birds.
This squirrel would make a wonderful model for a needle felt.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate your visits.
Blessings
Penny

Look at that precious little soccer star! And I adore your Easter mantel. Beautiful. I am planning on decorating for Easter this weekend. I always enjoy my visits with you, my friend. Like we are chatting over coffee. : )

Are the hummingbirds year round in your area? They are here. We have several in our garden and I enjoy watching them, just like I love watching all the birds we have. I also like the squirrels, smart little guys, but they can become a bit pesky. Then I have to remind myself that they're only trying to survive.
Mia with ths stickers all over her is too funny.

The kids sure grow up fast and it's fun to follow them with photos...lots of photos! A hummingbird! WOW! We haven't seen one yet but I saw lots of butterflies on my hike today. Enjoy your week!

Look at those hummers! Our's won't be here for a couple more months. Great photos. And your Easter decor is lovely. The exercising bunnies are so cute. Mia looks like she is really enjoying soccer. That's such a good sport for kids, I'm sure she will enjoy it. Oh, yes I do like Andes mints-chocolate and mint are a match made in heaven! Have a happy week!

Hi Sheri,
I love Andes mints too. Mint chocolate is a favorite of mine. When I was a kid we use to ride to the grocery store and buy Ghirardelli mint chocolate bars. They were full size, solid chocolate. I wish they still made them.
Mia is adorable. Your Easter decor looks very nice. I need to get mine out. I am ready for Spring!

So much to love! We've had wild weather here too, snow, rain, and tomorrow thunderstorms. Spring is full of surprises. Love the color purple too! And always love chocolate mints... Andes and Yorks are so good. Sweet Mia, my how she has grown! Amazing how fast the years fly by! Enjoy your week, hope you get more sunshine :) Our hummers won't be here until the middle of April...

Surely you can't hate squirrels. That last squirrel picture is so cute. He's actually looking your way and smiling at you. I think he wants to be your friend. I love Andes mints, we keep a box in our glove compartment in the car and have one after we eat. I love your yoga rabbits. So cute.

I was going to say how much I like the bunny doing Yoga poses, then I saw Mia's photo and can't believe how cute and big she is getting. Andes are my favorite, too. St. louis has warm wetaher this week. I am delighted.

Hi Sheri, some little signs of Spring at your place. Hummingbirds are so cute and adorable, I could not believe when I first saw them. As always, you remind us of the meaning of purple during Lent - and I will heed and add purple to my bunny routine. I am so pleased to see your fabulous duck again, looking very at home with a special necklace. Have a great week!

Hi Sheri, we had our snow too but it didn’t last very long. Those mints look good and I like your coffee cup :) Loved the cute hummingbird photos, and I know they are not your favorites but you took great squirrel photos. Oh my gosh, I love your goose and those pretty beads and rabbit pieces. All your collectibles are delightful. Mia is adorable!

I love your sweet mantle, Sheri. How funny you have Andes mints on your post today-as do I. lol. It is so much fun to watch the little kids playing soccer. Most of them have no clue at that age and it is like watching a free-for-all.
Have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day- xo Diana

Aw - Mia is so cute in her soccer clothes. I was driving behind a school bus the other day and just marveling at how small the little ones were getting off the bus, but so sure of themselves, skipping along. Love your sweet snowy white mantel with all your bunnies and pretty purple frame. Hummingbirds are my favorite - they have funny personalities and aren't the least bit afraid of anything. I like squirrels, too, but they do like to dig up my bulbs. Happy Spring! Hugs xo K

That must have been some wind! It must have also been cozy in your cabin, snuggled there, with the wind rustling about. :-)

I can't eat chocolate so those mints, would be off my list. As are soooooooooo many delights. -sigh- But it is for my Health.

Humming birds already! Lovely...

But I do not like squirrels at all!

what an adorable little girl.

I do love that I have hummingbirds in my garden all year long, I love them. The squirrels, now that is a different story. We are constantly chasing them away from bird feeders. I haven't had Andes chocolates in a very long time. They are good and I will be looking for them now. Enjoy your springtime in the trees.
