Polish Sausage And Doll

So, how have you been, friends?  I went to the store last night, and I have to tell you that it's really strange every time I go to the store now.  But I try to go very early in the morning or very late at night, so there's only a couple people every time.  Most people are pretty good about keeping their distance, but there are some who get too close.  Why is it so hard for people to distance themselves from one another?   And what do you think about some states starting to re-open businesses?  Do you think it's too soon?  I made some Polish sausage, my favorite.....and my heritage too.  Francesca plays with my heritage dolls, and I can't seem to find the Greek doll.  Oh well, it's probably stuck in a couch cushion somewhere.  And if she had fun playing with them, that's all that matters.  I'll find it in time (and maybe grandma misplaced it).  ; )  Just staying in, cooking and baking, cleaning and sorting, and when everything is done, I get out and take some pictures!

Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Hey Lady, love the pics. Did you ever get moved? Okay, whats up with the two steps to NO WHERE? haha....I love the library box. I had never seen one until about four yrs ago when I was in ......CALIF! Yep, learned it there. Wanted to make one for the other house and never got around it it. Here in TN the biggest issue with things like that is coming up with a way to make one that will keep the rain out. Lots, lots of rain. Stay safe.

Nice photos today!
It looks like spring there!
Red Bluff has lifted the stay at home orders and I heard we are going to today. Should be interesting. I know everyone needs a hair cut and nails done!
My Mom was polish so I guess that makes me some too(-: I keep thinking about doing the DNA test for the family history thing. Would be fun to find out.
We love the polish sausage too. (-:

Dear Sheri my heart smiled when I saw the photo of your hummingbird. We won't see these wee ones for another month. I always feed them and look forward to watching them in the flower garden. Your photos are just amazing. Love Polish sausage cooked with cabbage. It is a favorite dish of mine.
Today our governor is rolling out the plans to reopen May 1st. He has cautioned that it will be a slow road back. I feel very confident that he using prudence. In fact our state of Ohio was one of the first to have stay at home orders issued. Having said this we will have to wait and see. How about you - is there signs that you may begin to open up? Take care and have a lovely day. Hugs!

Book Nook? What is that?

Your photos are wonderful. 😊

Why is it so hard for people to distance themselves from one another?

Ha ha...it's awkward maybe. Habit?

And what do you think about some states starting to re-open businesses?

We have to open sometime. It feels quick to me too and we are staying home, but there is some evidence emerging that many more people have had it than originally thought. That would make the severe case rate lower. Let's hope. But I am watching to see what happens with these openings. If they can do it, so can we.

Do you think it's too soon?

I don't know. I feel like there is so much we don't know. In regular life too! Ha ha

Have a great day, Sheri! 🌸

So are you Polish - my hubs is. Love polish sausage too.
The pictures you shared make me feel happy and full of spring. Love the red and white one especially.
That book mailbox is cute.
The girls are adorable as well as their dolls.
We opened last Friday legally -and while some people ventured out - most are not. I think we kind of opened to quick. There are like 37 rules for these restaurants to follow - some just weren't ready.
That bird with brown on it - have never seen one that close.
I don't think CA is opening soon.
Love, sandie

It is indeed strange to go out now. I have had to go to the post office a couple times and I don't particularly feel comfortable with that. Just got back from a walk and oh I need to remember to go early in the morning when no one is out. Love your pictures of out and about. I do remember dolls like that. I may have had one many years ago. Your roses are ahead of our roses, but soon they will be blooming. I did notice a lot of buds.

Sheri, your photos are so lovely. And your dolls are so sweet. The roses are beautiful. Our roses are just starting to open, though our weather is still chilly. I surely hope and pray that the states that are opening will not cause this virus to last longer. I don't understand why folks don't believe in social distancing!

Such beautiful photos...and the girls are growing! My boss used to make polish sauage and place it in mac and cheese and bake it. It was so good that way.

I love your slice of life photos here. So pretty, so real, so "there." And oh, that sausage looks divine (and so do the triscuits, which I love.) Your girls -- they are darling! I love this piece, Sheri. Hugs, j

A beautiful selection of pictures Sheri. The pink rose - just gorgeous against the blue sky. You are a very talented photographer. Your doll collection is so sweet - I collected a few of those international dolls too. So good that you have granddaughters so they can enjoy them. The gardens are very nice around your area :)

Good morning Sheri!

All is well here given the circumstances. We are healthy so far, I'm getting used to teaching/monitoring my students online though it's NOT the best situation, and spring is in the air.

It's always so good to see you.

i loved all dolls though i hardly played with dolls when i was little girl ,i liked boyish games more interesting instead lol yet i had dolls made by grandma and mom ,including small collection of plastic dolls like this ,one was quite bigger and would speak greeting words ,i gifted it to one of my cousin's daughter who broke it and i feel sorry for it

Francesca is such an adorable child ,how kind of her to handing you with cooking :)
our country is shut down ,After Ramadan month start govt has given bit loose but not much ,biggest worry is how will they cope with situation if it gets worst by doing so

Great photos! I think it's time to start testing the waters and opening things little by little. We can't stay on lock down forever.

Your photos are always amazing. What type of camera do you have? I just use my iPhone. ONE DAY, maybe I will purchase a real camera.

The sausage made my mouth water -

You live in a beautiful neighborhood, so well maintained.

I forgot to mention, I don't understand why it's so hard for some people to social distance. I was at the store the other week and it was a group of people that were catching up and talking. I could tell that cashier wanted to say something to them, but I guess it made the cashier uncomfortable to do so. Be well and stay safe!

Beautiful photos and yummy looking sausage! I like the stone steps that are just randomly out there lol. I would SO be standing on top of them having my picture taken! We are stuck inside for another month in Illinois. I don't watch the news and don't plan to start as you can find as many conflicting opinions and ideas as there are ants at a picnic so I am just staying busy. We ARE going to Boston when our first grandbaby is born in a few weeks. My husband said, "Just let ANYONE try to keep this woman from meeting her grandson" LOL. We'll wear our masks and carry our sanitizers and be smart as we have been. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can at least visit with friends outside!

Your flower pics look amazing
especially the first one.
Oh and if Francesca has fun with the dolls
that is all that matters, so true, kids grow up
so fast these days and it is very important that they
get to spend their childhood doing what kiddie stuff
they enjoy and will remember.
I am annoyed at people that
gets too close to me too during these times, I do not care
if they are wearing a mask or not. I do not know if its just me,
but I don't feel like talking to people in line...hahaha.
Stay safe Sheri and regards to your wonderful family. ♥♥♥
