Pizza Never Tasted So Good

I have been cooking a lot lately, almost every day, so you can imagine how surprised and pleased I was to have a pizza delivered to the house!  It was from one of the best pizza places in town, and it was such a treat for me.  It was so delicious, and my son joined me in this wonderful meal.  Thank you, M.

There was an ice cold bottle of Pepsi
 to go along with it.

Jess has been experimenting with making macarons, and I think she's getting the hang of it.  She said this was her best batch yet.

We really enjoy our food in this family.  ; )

How are you doing?
Please tell me in the comments.

The family looks so cute. That looks like a good pizza. I have been cooking a lot to and need a break. We are doing fine and cannot wait til the virus is over. Fearful it will come back, but I hope we will be better prepared.

Hello sweet Sheri!

We are well. Working from home, grateful for jobs, tired, revitalized by a sunny, warm weekend of gardening, and just waiting with everyone else when this will be over.

SO GOOD to see you here!

Pizza looks yummy! I have been thinking about attempting to make macaroons but I haven't gotten up the courage yet. I am going to make some churros tomorrow though.

Sheri, your family is my kind of family! That pizza looks amazing!!!! ANd I enjoyed all your photos this afternoon. We too have cooked and cooked these past weeks. Last night we grilled hot dogs and had a Ceasar Salad, fruit salad, and sweet potato fries on the deck. Tonight, though, we are ordering takeout from an Italian place in town. Yay! Stay safe and cozy, my friend.

Sheri, your pizza is making me hungry! I know what you mean about needing a little break from cooking. I enjoy it, but always welcome a change. Your darling family likes to eat like we do! And the grands have grown so much--so sweet seeing them. We are staying safe and I'm glad to hear you and yours are as well.

Oh Sheri, that pizza looks so good! And we haven't bought one in ages and I've been thinking about asking for it for my birthday that comes up soon. It's not like we can be with family or go out so this sounds about right and there's an independent pub near us that makes wonderful ones. And I'd love one of the teddy bear's chocolate chip cookies, please!

Doing okay here, had our first doctor appointment by Facetime. I think it's beginning to sink in that we're in this for a long time and so must deal with it as it is. How are you, dear Sheri?

So many of us are cooking more these days it seems. I've even tried my hand at making bread, which is odd because I'm not really a 'bread' person! Came out pretty good if I do say so myself.

After a while cooking so much takes its toll, so like you I was so happy to get pizza last week. You would have thought I won the lotto!

What adorable pictures of your beyond precious granddaughter! This cheeks!!!

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of the Darling Members of this family!
So fun to see the girls and to see you too, Sheri.
I am glad that everyone is thriving and enjoying experimenting with different recipes too.
I made two homemade pizzas for Dave and I and the were very good, except that I went a little too heavy on the homemade pizza sauce!
Gotta love the San Marzano tomato!
Love,
Jemma

The pizza looks delicious! I have been cooking a lot as well, and I'm enjoying it. I have always loved cooking, but during "normal" times it sometimes is more of a chore when I don't have that much time. Even though I'm working from home with this stay-home order I have more time for cooking. All my routines are completely different which feels pretty good.

Your pizza looks amazing. I'm doing a clean regime during the month of May, no pizza until June. Big sigh.

Oh my...suddenly I am craving a slice of pizza! {{smiles}}
Jess' macaroons look wonderful...something I have always wanted to make - they are one of my favourite treats!
Aww, we also enjoy food in our home - cooking forms a big part of our lives as we always cook from scratch and grow as much fresh produce as we can!
Lovely to visit with you today, dear Sheri...and always sweet to see pictures of your little grand daughters...they are too precious!
Hugs!

Oh I spy a tea party, how sweet!
I am well, but starting to get anxious to get out a bit. My neighborhood is soooooo quiet now, everyone is staying indoors or where we can't see them.
The pizza and pepsi looks so delicious, as do the macarons too.
Happy Mother's day!

What wonderful pictures, Sheri. I love seeing those babies..and your own daughter looks like you, i think. Nothing like a teddy bear with a cookie.
I am continuing to cook and bake and will surely need an intervention when this ends...IF it ends. xo Diana

Those macarons look amazing! What a sweet little tea party they had! And pizza is such a treat when you've been cooking nonstop, I agree! Doing great here. We have been very blessed because of very few cases here in our county. Praying for those who are suffering because of this virus! Much love to you dear friend :)
