Maybe Tomorrow

I had a conversation with a blog friend recently through e-mail.  We went back and forth several times and talked about many things.  She is lovely and compassionate and good, and a beautiful woman here in blog land.  This is a song that she is fond of, so you can listen to it while I share some Summer photos.

That robin shot is particularly beautiful. And oh, those roses you shared. It looks like you are having a wonderful summer life. The last photo may be the most precious of all!

Love the music as I enjoyed each and every picture. Just wondering what you were going to do with the chopped eggs? Outdoors nature is always the very best to surround ourselves with. Thanks!

The sliced eggs are on top of my potato salad. I usually put them on nicely, but just scattered them around this time. The potato salad is an old family recipe and is delicious. Not a lot of ingredients, just an old-fashioned potato salad. : )

You know I really do enjoy photos and how well they are done - I can never catch a good one - maybe I should take a photo class.

I like the egg salad.
Thin mint ice cream.
Mints.

How in the world did you 'catch' two photos of birds eating bugs.

Love the squirrel too.

And of course the babies.

Sandie

Your feet as well.

Your granddaughters are so precious. Such a blessing.
I love all of your photos. When Karen and I were young, we had a neighbor with many crape myrtle trees lining her drive. Even today, some 50 years later, I can smell those blossoms (like that are on the ground in your pics) and it brings fond memories of childhood. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful things that make me smile. xo

Your pictures are always so beautiful, I feel like I am right in there with them. And I will never, ever grow tired of pictures of roses. The Crape myrtles in my yard are in full bloom, one old one, and two young ones. I love the month of July, even though it is so hot and dry. It is my birthday month. Yesterday I was 80 years old!
Bless you and your beautiful family.

Sheri, I really enjoyed the music with your post. An old classic! Lovely photos of all the beauty that surrounds you! I love the unique blossoms of the crape myrtle blooms on the curbing. So artsy! And your granddaughters--well just precious. Have a lovely week.

Another wonderful post, dear Sheri!
First I thought the little bird with some delicious treats, or the lovely roses, or the beautiful statues would be my favourite photo... but of course the last photo, with the cute little ones, warms the heart most. :)
Thank you for your kind comment. Whereas June was unusually warm here, July has been unusually cold. It's ok, but the mosquitoes are too many. :D
Have a happy day!

Sheri,
Thank you for the song and photos. Love the "randomness" of the selections. My favorites are the feet one, Tuesday Morning, and of course the children.
