Ugh!

I took my car in to get some work done, and it's always exhausting after any car maintenance day.  It wasn't the simple kind of work, like an oil change, it was the engine kind of work, and very expensive.  I tried calling three other places to get a lower price on the part I needed, and finally found someone who would take care of it for less.  That was the only good thing about the day.....and taking some pictures of pretty things while I waited.  This took about three hours, and another day was scheduled to do the repair work.

A nice lady let me take pictures of her cute dog
while we waited.

She's getting sleepy,

and sleepier,

and fell asleep.

This pretty much sums up my
car maintenance day.

It's really stressful when a car needs repair!

So very sorry about your expensive car repairs. Thanks for sharing the beauty around you as you waited. That little dog is precious....she fought falling asleep as long as she could! The roses are gorgeous (I never see one w/o thinking of you). Love the mourning doves, also. Tomorrow is my day to take the car in for an oil change. Definitely not a fun thing!

At least you had a cute pup to watch! I hate taking my car in...actually I hate anything associated with sitting and waiting.

My car needs to go for a couple of repairs and I dread it! Hope you have a good week! Love that old bench with the chevy tailgate!

Sheri, I have always hated car repairs. If you ever find a mechanic that's honest...keep him, they are rare. You always find the pretty roses or they find you. :) Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

Oh me - don't get me started on car problems! It has been a rough month for us with two of our cars. Gotten have them though.
Gosh that red rose looked perfect to me - it was divine. Loved it. Sees like you were able to keep busy for awhile. And that sweet precious dog - and how it fell asleep - it was so cute. Great Shots! Love, sandie

Hi Sheri, I don't much like car maintenance day either - always seems boring to me! Lovely red roses today, and that dog is a cute little fellow. Is that your painting? It is very beautiful indeed. Best of all: sweet little love birds, make my day. xo

Oh my friend, I hear ya. I hesitate to have my car taken in even for an oil change because they ALWAYS find something to fix that ends up setting us back. But, you made good use of your time to observe and capture the nicer things in life. That dog...how darling is that!!!!!!

Love that quote you shared 'in dreams and in life, nothing is impossible' , that is such a hopeful and powerful quote that I choose to believe. Love all your flower pics
and that Chevrolet bench looks so precious, I'd love to sit on a bench like that with someone I care about and/or someone with wonderful stories to share, so much like Forest Gump :)
The dog looks adorable. And look on the bright side Sheri, you did get a lower price.
I wish you a great week ahead.

Sheri, I'm sorry to hear about your vehicle troubles. We had to have some work done on our's today as well, so I can identify. Love all the sweet photos you took while waiting. The rose through the trellis is beautiful and so you! I adore the darling dove nest in the letter O--so cute. And the bench made from a truck is very appropriate at your garage shop. Hopefully you will soon have the repairs done and back in business. Have a happy week.

As usual, the pictures are awesome..the little dog so sweet. I hate having to make decisions about car work and things like that. My husband did those things, now he is disabled I have to do it. We are having to have some major work done to our floors..I hope I get it right! I hope you have some doubly happy days to make up for all the frustration. May the Lord rain beautiful blessings on you and your family.

It's irritating to be forced to take a repair work.No way.... However, that sometimes reminds me of convenience brought by modern technology. And I sometimes feel sorry for workers who manufactured a machine.

Good afternoon dearest Sheri!

Thank you so much for coming to my blog. It seems so quiet these days in Blogland but to see you and a few other friends come by, that really feels good. I'm glad you like those photos; I am going to see about having one of them printed on canvas!

Kindness...we need to give it out every day and spread it because our world needs it, doesn't it! Yes, I do believe that the greatest strength is knowing yourself, controlling your anger or power and just simply be kind. Like that rescue horse; she was HUGE but all that muscle was measured, controlled and gentle. But you know that underneath all of that is a wild animal, yet rescued and redeemed.

UGH...I love that word. Now a days taking care of anything that needs taking care of sort of loses my interest altogether. HAHA....I do good to tell myself to go to the bathroom! HAHA kidding. But if I need to something I have to keep reminding myself. You found a cute doggie while you waited anyway. Just like a babe, they can just fall off to sleep. Thanks for the comments on Everleigh. She is the daughter of my son in laws son....my daughters step son, making him my step grand so Everleigh is my great grand and I am not even 60 yrs old. But then again, Dad just turned 15 and mom just turned 14. SO young....but they are growing fast and they hate leaving Everleighs side.

I pick mine up today, having left it at the shop while we were traveling. I do not relish the bill, or rather, paying for it. So, I really feel your frustration at it all. I will say that despite all that you captured and shared some onederful photos that really make me smile!

My garage is shamefully expensive as well but the one good thing about them is that the collect and deliver your car (for a fee, of course), at least you are spared the wait. But the experience is behind you and you can move on to nicer things :-)
