Girls Just Wanna

What's better than going to a pumpkin farm?....going there with your grandchild.  We all spent the day at the pumpkin farm, along with the other grandma's family, and it was so much fun.  To see Francesca go on the train and carousel, and look in wonder at the farm animals was a thrill for me.  Everyone around here knows that this pumpkin farm is the best one in the area, as it has everything!  I used to go as a parent volunteer when my kids were in school, so it has special memories for me as well.  I had my first caramel apple of the season; there's just something about a caramel apple at a pumpkin farm.  My son thinks it's all the butter, and I think he's right.  ; )  This song was playing when we first got there, and you can listen to it while scrolling down the pictures.

Although Mia couldn't go,
here's a pic of her,
and one day this grandma will have
the pleasure of going to
the pumpkin farm with her too.

Those little "pumpkins" are just adorable. Both of them. That was always one of my favorite things to do--go to the pumpkin farm/patch with the kids when they were little. It is all the scents and 'feelings' that go along with the whole experience for me.

I hope you have a wonderful week and I love that you were able to do that with your grandgirl xo Diana

OH....How adorable! Such beautiful smile Mia has. And you are so lucky to have two beautiful pumpkins in your life. Me....all boys! No little girls. I was thinking just the other day when I went to see my nieces son that it has been 22 yrs since this family has seen a little girl! 22 yrs....BOYS, BOYS, BOYS....ALL BOYS! haha....I did a post the other day after you commented on my lantern, it is pics of different lanterns for you to see. I have decided I don't care for mine so I will be redoing it. Just trying to get in the mode to do things like that, and to put up Christmas. I think I will do it a little early compared to when I normally do it. The pain is keeping me pinned down a bit more than normal right now. Just took hours cleaning on my kitchen. But I will get it all done.....hoping things are going great with you.

What a great time you had at the Pumpkin Farm, Sheri! Francesca is a lucky grand to have such a caring grandmother. I love doing things with my grands even though they are much older than your wee ones. It's just the best. Mia's smile is beautiful! The photos of you with Francesca speak volumes. ♥
