Get Out Of Dodge

I thought I'd 'get out of dodge' and take a drive to the country.  Nature always provides me with goodness, and it a place that is always true and unfettered.  So, I took a drive up to Penryn and then to Loomis.  Now, I'm not much of a country music lover, but a song came on that I really liked, Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw.  I enjoyed listening to it while driving the country roads.

Now, we're in the town on Loomis.

At the local store I bought a fairy rock because I've always wanted to create a fairy garden. : )

 



A cute antique shop caught my eye from the street, so I got out and looked around and talked with a gal who moved to Loomis about four years ago from So Cal.

I stopped at a bakery and bought a blueberry Danish to go with my coffee.

Next to the railroad tracks, I got a strong smell of something.  Looked over and this is what it was.

I sure do love the town of Loomis, and visit it frequently.  Sometimes getting out of our own town and visiting another is just what we need.

So as Tim McGraw sang "shut off the AC and roll the windows down,"  that's just what I did that afternoon.
