Magic Tree

I was taking a stroll through my favorite park, looking for bunnies, (can you find him??)

when I came across this fascinating tree.

Sure it looks like an average tree from afar, but when I came close and examined the falling leaves, I noticed how unique it was.

When hanging onto the tree, the leaves were dark green on one side and light green on the other.

But the leaves that have drifted away and settled on the grass were bright white on one side. This side was so soft to the touch- almost like velvet.

Such beautiful, small details in life when we take the time to notice, right?

~Jess

P.S. Thank you for the many congratulations!!

Hi Jess
First congratulations,

love those leaves. Do you know the name of the tree ?
Please let me know. Those leaves would be fantastic to paint in watercolour.

Wait! I saw a quote this week (or the past ;)) that touched a chord and now your post...

Let me see if I can find it still...

Found it!

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.

Margaret Mead

I think we only need to touch further and deeper to learn the secrets and particularities. Of beings. In a leaf or a person.

Many leaves have that. They are tough with tougher colors on the top and then underneath velvet and sweeteness.

Thank you for sharing your stroll, Lovely Jess.

All the Best,
Teresa
