I've Been Tagged

Lynne, from Dreams On 34th Street, tagged me for... The Touring Through Blog Land Tour.  I have known Lynne since the beginning of our time blogging, which is about three years.  She is a spirited woman who devotes much of her time to her family, a great gal with a sense of humor, and one of my favorite people here in blog land.

So, on with the questions that are asked from the tour:

1.  What am I working on right now?
Right now, I am working on something exciting,
but I will tell you all about it later.  When the
time is right, you'll be the first to know.

2.  How does my work differ from others in this
     genre?
I am more interested in the photography side of
blogging.  I enjoy using my pictures to tell a
story, and I am always working on improving my
     photos.

3.  Why do I write/create what I do?
Nel, Jess, and I have created our rosy blog
space to share our interests and ideas,
communicate with other bloggers, and hopefully
inspire others.  I cherish the relationships I have
     made through blogging.

4.  How does your writing/creating process work?
I have actually started to write short stories for
my children about me growing up, so they will
know a little bit more about their mom and what
she was like as a young girl and some of her
experiences.  I often try to put a splash of humor
in the stories because I think that laughter is
something that we all need and long for.

Thank you, Lynne, for including me in The Touring Through Blog Land Tour.  It's been pretty hot here in California, so I think I'll just sit back now and visit you all.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!! You know, I am a part of a writing tour that I will contribute to at the end of the month. It's rare I participate in these, but it's time to share more. Sweet friend, I cherish you, and I never want to stop blogging because apart from other writing or art explorations, blogging is the one place we can actually connect with others and just have FUN. Many wishes to you for a milder day. This is my last week before I start another week of pure meetings and preparations for back to school on August25! AHHHH!

Hi Sheri,
nice to learn something new about you :). It is a nice idea to write short stories for the kids so that they will learn something about their mom! I also did this for my kids, however, I did not write them down but only told them as a good-night-sotry!
Hugs, Barbara

Sheri,I'm excited to hear more about what you're working on. And I love the fact that you're writing about your childhood. What a sweet gift to give your girls! They may take those stories for granted now, but as they have their own children, they will cherish them more. Thanks for letting us in on your life in this way.

Love,
Mary

That sounds wonderful Sheri! I am intrigued by what you are working on right now, but in time I am sure you will reveal.

I love the photo of the flower. They are a familiar sight from my mother's garden! The colour is just wonderful. Have a good week ahead!

Good morning sweet Sheri! Thanks for coming by yesterday! I got busy with my husband arriving home from almost a week of being away on business. We had a lovely day, and I also got a poem done for my poetry group that meets today!

I am involved in a poetry workshop HERE in my home, twice a month. The blog writing tour is only a one-time thing, and I am supposed to post at the end of August. School starts on August 25, but next Monday I go back to a week of meetings and preparation! AHHHHHHH

Sending you a wish today for magic, love and FUN!
