Sending you a very small glimpse of the diverse and giant metropolitan area of Los Angeles...
Beverly Hills
and the famous Rodeo Drive
Fancy, fancy storefronts and cuisine
Dessert?? Why certainly :-)
Beverly Wilshire Hotel
It was definitely a fun place to visit...
but honestly, this is more my style ;-)

Hi Jess, I recognized Rodeo dr. I have been there once. But I would love to go back. :):) there's a lot to see and do in that area. Now affording it is something else. LOL. Hope you enjoyed yourself. xoxo, Susie

Living in So CA, I have been there a few times. Love the hotel, it is so elegant. Also, so much fun walking up and down Rodeo. But I'm with you
I like a more relaxed area.
Hope you had fun. Have a great week.
Mary
Wowwwww !! that must be great to be there...love from me Ria...x !
Thanks for this lovely tour through your photos!
Hi Jess...
Thanks for sharing these lovely photos! I visited RD once...many years ago...
It was something else! I brought home some shoes and perfume as souvenirs. My memory is most lovely because I shared the trip with my Mom. (I was only 15)
xoxo
the dessert looks so yummy! I've always wanted to visit LA :)

These are cool pics of LA, Jess. I've always wanted to go shopping on Rodeo Drive. :~)
WOW.....totally amazing! x
So nice pictures Jess! My little daughter has just arrived there some days ago in order to study for one semester. I think she will enjoy her time there, although she will not be able to afford the luxury in the shops :) But as you mention it is also funny to explore the area by bike!

Wow. Thank you for taking us on this trip with you. Pretty Woman is one of my favorite movies of all-time!
I'm with you there girl! I have never been to California-hardly out of the state of Georgia and TN, I'm sad to say. I'd love to visit LA and Beverly Hills. Would love to see a star or two, but give me the beach ANY day! I would love to live there!
I grew up in South Central but cruised up Wilshire Blvd in my teens to get a glimpse of the good life...then I'd drive down to Santa Monica Pier and dream. When my husband and I went back to L.A. this past Christmas, I made him take me to Santa Monica; I had to see my youth again ebb and flow like the shore. LOVE THIS LAST SHOT! Anita
Oh Jess, what a bicycle! Neat!
What a fabulous place. The food looked heavenly. LOVED the bike.
so tolle bilder von los angeles, vor einigen jahren war ich auch dort, ich wußte aber nicht, daß "pretty woman" dort gedreht wurde, sonst hätte ich das hotel auch besucht!!!!! alles liebe von angie
Jess,
I think I could get used to Rodeo Drive. But the last pic captured my heart too.
Love,
Mary

That bicycle you have there is so cool. I like its vintage look! It seems you had a fun time Jess!
Wow these are very impressive pictures. I really enjoyed seeing them. So much variety and lots of character.
I would love to visit LA sometime. Beautiful buildings and since Pretty Woman is a favourite of mine, I think I would have to step inside that hotel. That's definitely my kind of dessert too!
Dear Sheri, my friend! HELLO! I am finally coming back via your sweet comment from early yesterday! I have been having teacher meetings all week long with another one this morning, so I must leave soon....
YES! I grew up in South Central and then lived in another suburb of Los Angeles: Pico Rivera and then Whittier, after I married. I have very fond memories of family outings at local parks and also along the coast of Santa Monica out at a family friend's ranch in the canyons. But my fondest memories of SCHOOL are as a teacher, here in Minnesota.
WISHING YOU A FANTASTIC WEEKEND dear and beautiful Sheri! Anita
OMG, I loved that old-fashioned mail box. Great photos of everything, Jess. Thanks for sharing. Susan
