Recently, I mentioned to Nel that I saw a candle on a friend's blog, and it was the prettiest candle I've ever seen. It was Purple, and the scent was Huckleberry. This name is very special to me, which made me want it even more.
I don't have any Purple decor in my home, except for a jeweled frame and my doll from France. But I didn't care, cause I just really wanted this candle.
A short while later, Nel sent me an e-mail saying, "with shipping and taxes this prettiest candle you've ever seen was the most expensive candle I've ever bought, but Happy Valentine's Day from me and Mia!" 💜 She makes me laugh with some of the things she says. Last week, a package was on my porch, and it was the candle that I wanted so much.
I love the lid, it's so unusually pretty also.
It's a Voluspa candle, which are very nice, and Brian gave me a white one years ago that I still use, one of my favorites. As you can see, I'm a candle person.
I will keep this candle forever, and when all the wax is gone, I will still have the pretty jar to hold on to. Thank you, my Huckleberry baby.

That is pretty!
Smile...reminds me of Val Kilmer's "I'm your huckleberry," in Tombstone.
Beautiful cover.
That is the sweetest story and gift.
I can't burn scented candles but this one is so pretty, it would be lovely to just have around. And I love and have a lot of wonderful memories connected to huckleberries!
It's so nice when someone thinks you are worth any amount of money! The candle is beautiful and I love that lavender doll! Enjoy your day!
What a gorgeous candle! And such a nice daughter!
I love candles too, Sheri! How nice Nel gifted this pretty one to you. I've never had a Voluspa candle before. I must look for them. Your doll is beautiful, but more than that is the last photo! Enjoy your week, my friend.
The candle is very pretty.
A much loved scented candle is a perfect winter treat.
Oh my goodness! What a beautiful candle. And an even more beautiful, thoughtful daughter! I love the photo you included too! Enjoy your candle during these cozy winter days, my friend.
How sweet, you have a very special family Sheri!!!
How sweet...don't you love when they surprise you cause they heard something you said?
What a sweet gift!!! What does the fragrance smell like...is it floral?

That is a beautiful candle. That was so sweet of your daughter to get it for you. I am sure you will enjoy it a lot. I love candles too, but my daughter got me started with the Scentsy burners. I like using different ones for different seasons. I still enjoy candles too especially during the winter.
I hope you have a great week.
Oh, what a sweet daughter you have Sheri. The candle does have a beautiful jar and lid, and I bet the scent is gorgeous too. Your French doll is exquisite, you will always have her in your life. Have a great week.
Hello dear Sheri! Now isn't that a sweet gift from your "Huckleberry Baby!" So thoughtful to take a wish you've said out loud and then make it happen. I think that's what we are supposed to do from time to time, to makes someone's wish come true.
Enjoy your candle!
What a sweet gift and I agree, it really is gorgeous!
What a sweet, sweet daughter you have and what a beautiful Valentine's gift - you have good taste - lol.
The photo was pretty and boy do I remember Olan Mills - I wonder if it still exists?
I worry about candles but maybe I will get into them when I feel I can burn them safe without anyone playing with them - lol.
Hey Rick got his pacemaker/defibrillator put in yesterday and he is doing good. Just thought I'd let you know.
Such a sweet and thoughtful gift! The candle is just beautiful, and I can only imagine how wonderful it smells. You have some very thoughtful people in your life!
Nel and Mia just bought you something that will bring you joy the rest of your life! I so love that lid...and the container itself is beautiful.
How beautiful! Sweet post. Wonderful photo of you. Hugs.
Hi Sheri, that is such a pretty candle. I haven’t seen a huckleberry one before. I will have to investigate the Voluspa candle. That’s a cute message sent from Nel, say it like it is I say :) I do like your collectible doll in the pretty purple dress and the hair, gosh I wish mine was that thick and curly! Such a pretty photo of you and Nel! Happy February Sheri!
How sweet! Beautiful photo of you, thanks for sharing.. :)

Oh Sheri I love candles also. Darling photo of you and your baby. That candle is certainly a treasure. With snow heading our way, I am going to light my Yankee Candle and write.
Sheri what a wonderful present from your two loved ones. I bet it smells absolutely divine. Reading about your candle made me go and light one of mine. It is Sea Salt and Rosemary. It has a nice clean fragrance. Glad to read you are staying warm and safe during winter. We have had an unusually tough one this January. February is not looking like it is off to a better start. Iced in today and waiting for the ash truck to go so I can get to work. My boss is all by himself...we thought the county would close because the weather is to only get worse throughout the next 24 hours. Hoping maybe they will send everyone who made it in home early. Definitely not safe to be driving around. Living out in the middle of nowhere has its blessings but it also holds some challenges too. Just thankful we have electricity and are safe and warm. Take care - Hugs!
That is indeed a beautiful candle, such a lovely jar. I personally don't like scented candles, they give me a headache, but I do love candles and burn them a lot. Sometimes it can be a challenge to find unscented ones.
A beautiful candle from your sweet daughter, and Bet it smells good! I make soy candles for my family and a few friends and have not seen the huckleberry scent. It has been really cold here for our area. I am so ready for Spring! Have a blest night and thank you for your comments on my blog.
Beautiful jar. It will bring you joy for years!
How lovely to be sent this gift of a beautiful candle.
I love candles too. Not sure I have ever smelled huckleberry scent though. Glad you are enjoying it.
