I'm tired. Just traveled 7 hours, so this will be a very short post. My brother-in-law drove, and I was so thankful for that. He's a safe driver, which eased my mind a little more. I will show more later, but here are a few pics for now.
Driving home, there was lots of rain, and we're supposed to have a big storm this week. I came home to this! It was at a higher elevation, and it was right before my town, so there was much snow covering the trees. We had a bit of snow too.
When I drove up to my house, he flew right in front of my car and greeted me. I came home to some homemade oatmeal cookies and tea from London. It was good to be home. : )
Nice sweet short post Sheri.
Hope you're well.
Have a fabulous week ♥
I hope you have a restful week! Love your pretty mug!
I would say that is a lot of snow. Glad your brother-in-law drove. I hope you had a wonderful time. Them home to tea and cookies - wonderful.
Those cookies look delicious.
It's always good to be home but it's nice to have a safe driver to get you around as well.
A homecoming Dove! I hope this portends that you will have a lovely and peaceful Christmas. Welcome home, I am looking forward to more pictures!
Welcome home, Sheri. And what a wonderful way to be greeted, with tea and cookies -- and a dusting of snow!
It's tiring to travel far, but I hope you enjoyed yourself. How lovely to come home to yummy cookies and tea! Love the photo of you down the slide. The snow looks so pretty and so nice for Christmas. Have a lovely week ahead.
What a nice little adventure.
How special to return home to some snow, cookies, and special tea.
What a nice welcome home. Looks like a fun time.
Hi Sheri, Seven hours is a very long and tiring drive. Oatmeal cookies are definitely the answer. Enjoy your Christmas week.

Travel can be stressful, I am so happy you had a safe driver, that put you to ease and you enjoyed your time.
Oh that looks like you had a nice trip even though it was stressful!
What nice treats to return home to!

The snow looks lovely. Though i would hate to drive in it. And that tea from the UK sounds delightful. you can curl up with a good book. kick your shoes off now that you are back home. and just relax.
Now I have Twining's, too.
Let's enjoy coldness with enough preparation of warmth.
Good morning dear Sheri! It's always good to come home to where love resides, isn't it!
It's always good to be back home. No bed like your own.
Back home to your sweet and wild mountain town! Rest up then prep up for that coming storm.
What a great home coming welcome for you.
Whst a sweet homecoming...glad it was a safe trip and that your brother was there to drive.
There's no place like home! Look at that snow. It's 80 degrees here in the South.
