I'm tired. Just traveled 7 hours, so this will be a very short post. My brother-in-law drove, and I was so thankful for that. He's a safe driver, which eased my mind a little more. I will show more later, but here are a few pics for now.
Driving home, there was lots of rain, and we're supposed to have a big storm this week. I came home to this! It was at a higher elevation, and it was right before my town, so there was much snow covering the trees. We had a bit of snow too.
When I drove up to my house, he flew right in front of my car and greeted me. I came home to some homemade oatmeal cookies and tea from London. It was good to be home. : )

Hi Sheri, Seven hours is a very long and tiring drive. Oatmeal cookies are definitely the answer. Enjoy your Christmas week.

Love, Carla
Oh that looks like you had a nice trip even though it was stressful!
What nice treats to return home to!
Enjoy your week!
The snow looks lovely. Though i would hate to drive in it. And that tea from the UK sounds delightful. you can curl up with a good book. kick your shoes off now that you are back home. and just relax.
Now I have Twining's, too.
Let's enjoy coldness with enough preparation of warmth.
Good morning dear Sheri! It's always good to come home to where love resides, isn't it!
It's always good to be back home. No bed like your own.
Back home to your sweet and wild mountain town! Rest up then prep up for that coming storm.
What a great home coming welcome for you.
Whst a sweet homecoming...glad it was a safe trip and that your brother was there to drive.
There's no place like home! Look at that snow. It's 80 degrees here in the South.
