Pink Building

When my brother was here checking this house out and fixing things up, he stopped at this little drive-inn on his way out.  It's a Pink building, and in the main part of town.  It looks like a diner atmosphere, and you can either come up to the window to order or go through the drive though.  On the window it says that the food is made fresh with each order, so please be patient.  My brother got a cheeseburger, and said it was the best burger he's had.  Well, I've been wanting to try their burgers, so last week me and my son went there for lunch.  We both got a cheeseburger, chocolate shake, and shared some fries.  Oh my gosh, it was the best burger!  I've had fish and chips there before, and it was a delicious meal.  I think I found my new place to eat when I don't feel like cooking!

Some more Pink pictures

My blog friend, Holly at The Merry Needle, sent me some goodies in the mail. She does cross stitching and is so talented with sewing and other projects, and this velvet sachet was my favorite that she sent me.

My best friend gave me this hummingbird trinket, and I always put it out every Spring.

Francesca's Minnie helmet!

There are trails close to Jess' home, and sometimes they go there for the day and bike ride or just take a walk along the trail.

My neighbor's blossom tree

Nel made the cutest baskets for the kids, with chocolate, glow wands for them to play with when it's dark out, puzzles, t-shirts, plastic eggs with candy, and the cutest unicorn socks.  Aren't they funky?

I saw this on my friend, Carla's blog, and loved it.  She said I could share it.

Ahhh . . . I always think of my mom when I see pink haha! She LOVED pink . . . it was her 'trademark'. I feel like even if you DON'T like pink, you can't help but smile when you see it.

What a lovely pink post, dear Sheri. Pink is my favourite colour, and I do love a pink building. If they serve good food, so much the better. The little velvet sachet is gorgeous, as is the hummingbird. Look at Francesca, she is loving the ride and her helmet :) Signs of Spring everywhere. Enjoy.

Hello Sheri!

Pink buildings and houses are SO rare and enchanting, aren't they! And to add to that, getting some home cookin' is the best. Isn't it nice to find something special and made with love during these times?

WOW that hometown pink diner sounds fabulous. A good hamburger is hard to come by with all the franchise places. Some of them have burgers that taste like cardboard. A place with Homestyle cooking is definitely a hidden treasure. i'd look for an excuse not to cook so i could frequent there. enjoy your meals. yum. yum. Love the goodies your friend gave you. And your trinket box is enchanting for sure. Your granddaughter looks so sweet with her helment and those socks are delightful. I don't drink coffee but add the word tea and i definitely love the sentiment. The budding tree is spring breaking out all over. You live in a lovely place. take care.

I love that little pink diner! What a cute place and the food just sounds out of this world! Worth waiting for, for sure! I bet you will have many a happy time ordering from there. And I can't believe your neighbor's tree. It is just laden with blooms. Your daughter sure made thoughtful baskets for the kids. I would not have thought of the glow wands, what a great touch.

LOVE the socks. Although I will not put them on in the spring or summer I love my socks in the winter. I have a thing about socks and I actually had to split them up to two drawers from one. I buy ones like you showed..haha....I always love finding new places to eat and if they are good...I always go back, and back and, well you know what I mean.
