Oh, October

 How are you doing friends?

October is a fun month, and here's a few photos of this and that.   I've moved a lot in the past few years and gave away quite a few things, but I can't seem to part with my delightful three witches.  They remind me of me and the girls, and I put them out every year.

Nel gave me this Paris brand tea to take home.  It is a black tea with a fruity taste.

I have been enjoying snuggling with this little one and watching Disney shows together.  It brings back memories of time spent with my own kids.

Nel taught me how to make cream cheese frosting.  It's so simple, and makes desserts taste even better.

I get so tired of cooking every day, and my son made a meatloaf one night.  He's such a good cook, and always experiments with spices.

My roses are coming along nicely in my rose pot, and it surprises me, as it's already October.

Oh October, how I delight in your whimsical month.  You give me fond memories of playful dress-up, pumpkin treats, and happy jack-o-lanterns. *Nel and Jess at 2 and 5.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhktober is one of my favorite months my friend. The change is somewhat like spring: it shows a transformation of life into something else, something dazzling yet fleeting. We take it in, we celebrate and dance in our hearts. My dahlias have finally succumbed to the frost and I'll need to bring in the tubers, store them in a brown paper bag in my basement then replant them next spring. Isn't life fascinating?

Lovely photos! Cooking every day starts to get nervous. I usually make a large portion of food that can be reheated the next day.

Hello, Dear Sheri - October is my favorite month! Your three little witches are so cute and I love that wide-mouth ceramic pumpkin. So funny! Sweet photos of all your darling girls and so nice to have roses blooming, still. We are done with the roses here, but the fall colors are making up for that. It's so nice that you are able to spend sweet time with your adorable little grand-girl. Watching Disney movies are the best. I am no longer watching my little grandson's 2-3 times a week due to the Covid and I really miss that. They grow up so fast. Enjoy this beautiful time of year! Sending hugs and blessings xo Karen

Love you three ladies....you and the girls, or the Sanderson Sisters or the Maiden, Mother and Crone....haha. I love them So sweet. I have gotten into a hot chocolate thing. I love the mix with cheyenne pepper and cinnamon in it. But other nights, I like marshmallows in it. I always loved when my grandson would curl up and watch movies. His mom worked on Sunday afternoons so that was out day, movies and popcorn. He will be 20 in three days. WOW.....I am getting so old.

I seldom really like witches but yours are adorable. How I identify with always having to think of what to cook. Sometimes I get so weary of thinking about food.

That rose is beautiful.

And snuggle every chance you get...it passes all too quickly.
