How are you doing friends?
October is a fun month, and here's a few photos of this and that. I've moved a lot in the past few years and gave away quite a few things, but I can't seem to part with my delightful three witches. They remind me of me and the girls, and I put them out every year.
Nel gave me this Paris brand tea to take home. It is a black tea with a fruity taste.
I have been enjoying snuggling with this little one and watching Disney shows together. It brings back memories of time spent with my own kids.
Nel taught me how to make cream cheese frosting. It's so simple, and makes desserts taste even better.
I get so tired of cooking every day, and my son made a meatloaf one night. He's such a good cook, and always experiments with spices.
My roses are coming along nicely in my rose pot, and it surprises me, as it's already October.
Oh October, how I delight in your whimsical month. You give me fond memories of playful dress-up, pumpkin treats, and happy jack-o-lanterns. *Nel and Jess at 2 and 5.

So much cuteness
Super cute post, dear Sheri!Adorable photos of your sweet daughters and precious Grand!I just love those witches! How fun! Oh,and the gorgeous roses...Always a pleasure stopping by!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhktober is one of my favorite months my friend. The change is somewhat like spring: it shows a transformation of life into something else, something dazzling yet fleeting. We take it in, we celebrate and dance in our hearts. My dahlias have finally succumbed to the frost and I'll need to bring in the tubers, store them in a brown paper bag in my basement then replant them next spring. Isn't life fascinating?
Lovely photos! Cooking every day starts to get nervous. I usually make a large portion of food that can be reheated the next day.
Hi,
I always enjoy your posts. They make me smile.
Love, Carla
Cream cheese frosting is the best.
Love those three witches.
October is my favorite month, too, Sheri! Love your darling witches. They each have personalities--so cute. That's so nice your son likes to cook. So does mine! Cream cheese frosting is so tasty. Your cake looks delicious with the frosting. Your rose is doing beautifully-- And such a lovely color. That's so nice you get to enjoy your darling granddaughter. Have a wonderful week, my friend.
Your two girls were adorable younger and beautiful now. I love the three little witches. So cute. Was the fruity tea good - it sounds good. I used to love watching movies and tv with Andy - I miss it. Your son cooking - awesome. Your roses exquisite. I enjoyed your post. sandie
Hello, Dear Sheri - October is my favorite month! Your three little witches are so cute and I love that wide-mouth ceramic pumpkin. So funny! Sweet photos of all your darling girls and so nice to have roses blooming, still. We are done with the roses here, but the fall colors are making up for that. It's so nice that you are able to spend sweet time with your adorable little grand-girl. Watching Disney movies are the best. I am no longer watching my little grandson's 2-3 times a week due to the Covid and I really miss that. They grow up so fast. Enjoy this beautiful time of year! Sending hugs and blessings xo Karen

Sheri, I love this post. Your girls, oh how adorable. I miss my own little sweeties too. It is wonderful you get to cuddle with that little one. I like that your daughter taught you a recipe. My girls can all out cook me...cause I am at the one pot meal stage in my cooking. Fun that your son enjoys cooking. Men really can cook. Blessings to you dear girl, xoxo, love, Susie
It looks like you've been having a great month Sheri! I love making my own cream cheese frosting. It's so simple to make and it's delicious!
Love you three ladies....you and the girls, or the Sanderson Sisters or the Maiden, Mother and Crone....haha. I love them So sweet. I have gotten into a hot chocolate thing. I love the mix with cheyenne pepper and cinnamon in it. But other nights, I like marshmallows in it. I always loved when my grandson would curl up and watch movies. His mom worked on Sunday afternoons so that was out day, movies and popcorn. He will be 20 in three days. WOW.....I am getting so old.
Sheri your witches had me smiling. They are so adorable. That cream cheese icing looks delicious and wow a son who makes meatloaf...you are surely blessed to have good cooks in your family. Loved the photos of your daughters. Bet those photos brought back some wonderful memories. Well enjoy your October weekend. Hugs!
I seldom really like witches but yours are adorable. How I identify with always having to think of what to cook. Sometimes I get so weary of thinking about food.
That rose is beautiful.
And snuggle every chance you get...it passes all too quickly.

Oh my goddness, this post is cuteness overload! That food is tempting as well. I can't decide if I want cake or meatloaf, now.
Gorgeous rose!
Love the carved pumpkins!
The three witches are indeed very cute.
Paris tea is Harney & sons #1 selling tea and a good one. Glad you are enjoying.
