Bohemian Eggs

I've been working on the Easter bags for the little ones, and finding goodies here and there to put inside.  I learned a new font on the home channel, so I tried to be creative with the writing on the bags.

I found some Bohemian looking eggs and am going to fill them with jelly beans and chocolate.  I will somehow teach these little ones to be carefree, as they may sometimes face restricted and controlling situations along the way.  Don't they look like something from the 60's?

I saw the prettiest vibrant pink bushes
in my town.

It's been raining lately,

and it's giving us some nice Spring flowers.

Here's Mia enjoying a piece of King Cake on Mardi Gras.  Nel makes this homemade dessert every year.  It sounds so good with a cup of coffee.

And little Francesca celebrating Mardi Gras.  Jess made these creative masks with her students at school, and she had to take a picture fast before Francesca got restless.

Don't ya love the colors of Mardi Gras?

Well, I have a big fundraiser dinner coming up, and the whole family is coming in for that.  It's always a fun time every year, and it gives me a chance to see friends that I haven't seen for a long time.

The bags look beautiful. Great job on your lettering. I love the eggs too. I ordered a rabbit pitcher and standing rabbit from Target. That is as far as I have got so far.(-: My daughter does not want the kids to have candy so I have a hard time with holidays. But I am sure I will find some fun things for them.
Have a great week!

Mia looks like she is enjoying that cake - I didn't even realize it was Mardi Gras right now. All your rain is bringing in beautiful flowers - here too. Those bags are so gorgeous. Sheri it is looking like you are getting ready for Easter. I am thinking those eggs are certainly a reminder of the 60's - love them. That dessert looks fabulous too and your granddaughters are always a joy to see. I would say they are your "Grace Notes". Hugs!

Sweet granddaughters!
Gorgeous spring flowers!
Love what you are doing for Easter! I need to get busy for my little guy. We usually fill plastic eggs out in the yard for him to find. Since his mom doesn't want him to have much candy I look for small toy items. I love the eggs you found with flowers on them.
