Only A Mile Away

When I moved to my new area,
I didn't realize that the rose garden was
so close to me, about a mile away.
I went there this week,
and the roses are still blooming even
during this Autumn season.

I got my coffee and enjoyed the roses
once again.  Don't ya just love
the holiday coffee cups at Starbucks?

There were roses of every color.

I had a special visit from someone.

There were even ones that looked
like candy canes!

I love this rose garden,
and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Turned around, and there it was,
just for me.  : )

Sheri, That is a beautiful rose garden....just for you too. I wish we had a Starbucks near. I do like the coffee at Subway. Nothing fancy, just flavors. This morning Teddy went to get the newspaper, in town and brought home sausage biscuits from McD's. That was so sweet of him. We use to take the paper and it was put in the box by the mailbox...the new carrier kept throwing it in the road or on the ground , so we canceled delivery. Sure miss the old carrier. Wishing you a pleasant weekend. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

Oh was a treat, a little hummingbird, and you managed to get some pictures. I am in awe, Sheri! Aren't those candy-stripe roses gorgeous too. I can see you visiting this beautiful place quite often.

Sheri, I'm so glad the rose garden is close to your new place. How lovely each blossom is! And the hummingbirds visiting must have made this a perfect place to enjoy your coffee! Your photos are so lovely, Sheri. Thank you for sharing them. It is supposed to dip down to 29 degrees tonight, so I don't think we will be seeing any more blooms for a while. ♥

What a blessing to be able to visit the Rose Garden. Your pictures are so amazing. Is that last red one the Ronald Reagan rose?
