I wanted to share with you this amazing hummingbird. It's called the Marvelous Spatuletail. He's about the size of your thumb, but has these long, brightly colored tail feathers that look like spatulas, and he lives in Peru.
There are so many marvels in the world, and one thing I can say about technology as we know it these days is that it takes us to places and secret lives we'd otherwise miss. WHAT A MIRACULOUS creature!

Hummingbirds are amazing creatures and I never tire of seeing them. Happily, i have been seeing them more this year in our yard.
