Mother-Of-The-Bride Dress
I went shopping for a mother-of-the-bride dress this week, and I have to say that it was no fun........mainly because there's not a lot of cute styles out there right now. I started out at Macy's, found something pretty but wanted to shop around, went to five other shops, and ended up at Macy's. I didn't find anything more appealing than the first dress I saw. I was determined to get something that day, and I'm glad that I did because the Fall collections will be coming out soon. My dress is lace in a mocha color, and it will go well with her wedding colors. I think Jess will be pleased with it. Here's a peek of what it looks like.

I remember looking for mine. It's a daunting task, I know. But you did it. The color is GORGEOUS. And that lace divine. You will look perfect for your daughters important day.
Not an easy outfit to buy, but that glimpse of the lace, looks lovely & I'm sure you will be a beautiful Mother of the bride. I chose red for my daughters wedding and felt good. for my sons wedding ... black & cream, that was not a good choice. At the time I thought it was, at that time I had put on a lot of weight and thought it would make me look slimmer, now when I look back at the photos I don't know what I was thinking about when I chose that outfit, big mistake I looked awful. can't wait to see the beautiful bride & all the outfits from this special day.

Sheri, I know that was like a chore...cause sometimes it so very hard to find the right things. You will be gorgeous , I am sure. It's going to be a beautiful wedding...please do not stress. I got the first dress, and only dress, I tried on, for our daughter's wedding. And when our son was married, the next year, I went back to "Ursula of Switzerland" and got another lovely dress. Yes, it was that easy! (By the time our last son was married, it wasn't so easy, but I will remember the first two! -grin-)

I so recall shopping for a mother of the bride dress! Not easy, especially if you kind of know what you'd like to find! I ended up buying mine on line from Macy's. Yours looks exquisite and I'm sure it's gorgeous!

My dear friend, from what I can see the dress looks stunning and I know you will look beautiful in anything :) I remember when my mom and I went shopping for the dress my mom would wear at my wedding...it was quite the ordeal as there wasn't a lot to choose from. She ended up finding a lovely dress that was so her and she looked radiant in it :)

Gorgeous Sheri - I love that mocha colour. And I love beaded lace too. I am also working on my outfit for my son's wedding and great minds think alike, as I have also chosen lace with some beading.
You know my friend, I too do NOT like to shop for cloths. Mainly because so many of the things I love are TOO EXPENSIVE!HHAHAHAHAHHAHAH and, some things just don't fit me right! I found it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find the dress I wanted, and in the end I never found the style I had always hoped for. I'm glad that at least I found the color I wanted. I had always hoped for blue mainly because it represents gaining a son. :)
Dillard's had nice choices, and they also provide a seamstress.

The fabric looks pretty and elegant, must be a beautiful dress. Shopping is always tiring I must say that's why sometimes I opt online.
