Sometimes Early In The Morning

We got our tree on Saturday and decorated it.  I am always eager to find just the right tree for our home.

Every year, I show you pictures of me and the girls' trees and some of their favorite ornaments.  We'll start off with Nel.  This Eiffel Tower ornament is special to Nel because she loves Paris, and is thinking about its people this Christmas.

The stack of books is also special because for the last 29 years of her life she's been in school for the holidays, but now that she's done, she is enjoying the holiday season even more.

This is a favorite of hers because she just likes foxes.  This one reminds her of a scholar.  : )

Now, we'll take a look at Jess' tree.  This is the perfect ornament this year for her tree.  These three words mean everything.

She still adorns her tree with red balls, which I love.

I focused on my gold ornaments this year.  And every year I say, "this is my prettiest tree ever."

Sometimes early in the morning, I turn my Christmas tree lights on, have my morning coffee, gaze at my tree, and think about all the blessings in my life.

I hope this season is

Oh I love the ornaments! - especially the fox, the books, and the Eiffel Tower. They're wonderful. It's so much fun to see how others have decorated their tree! We used to take our kids out to cut a tree, but after those many years, bought one from Kiwanis in town. A year ago I bought a fake tree, skinny one, and still feel like I should worry about watering it. LOL

Sheri, I love those quiet moments with the lights on too. All your trees are special....you have used ornaments that means things to each of you. I liked the tower, books, and always love red ornaments...but the Madonna with Child was really nice. Blessings to all you sweet girls, Love you, Susie

Such pretty trees, Sheri. I love the books ornament--I've never seen one of those-- Of course the Eiffel Tower and Peace on Earth. I enjoy sitting by our tree also, Sheri. A great place to reflect on our blessings. Enjoy the season! ♥

A very special share, trees reveal hope and our emotions of the past and the promise of the future. Truly beautiful trees. I've taken the poetry I've written and shared recently on my blog and turned it into our card for this year. Peace on Earth I pray and hope for.

Beautiful, meaningful, and special. What more could we ask from our ornaments?

Getting the perfect tree is such a fun activity. It's been three years since we've had a tree, but the memories of buying one or even cutting one down are etched in my mind. Like you, gazing at a lit tree is one of life's special moments.

And on weekend mornings, I do the same dear one. I have three small tabletop trees throughout the house. I have a white one in my studio, a vintage platinum color one in my old living room with lights, and a real tree in my great room. In the dark of the morning, I put on my living room tree and I'm mesmerized by the twinkling of the lights bouncing off the silver of the tree, and I listen. I listen to the empty space where the voices of right and wrong battle and where goodness wins. Too bad so many people are so busy that they don't make time to LISTEN.

Your tree is GORGEOUS and beautiful photos! Enjoy this wondrous season.

Such incredibly beautiful ornaments and trees! I adore Christmas ornaments and the soft white twinkle lights on a tree. I just haven't had the spirit to put the tree up and decorate. It's been a very difficult week missing my Abby and the tears flow. She loved Christmas so much!

Thank you for sharing all the beauty my friend.

All such beautiful trees with their uniqueness's. I do the same thing in the morning with the tree and coffee, that is my quite time before I get everyone up and out for the day. Lovely ornaments, maybe I'll do a post about ornaments when we have them up. Have a great weekend!

Your tree looks really beautiful! We have a tradition to buy a Christmas tree all together in my family. Though my co-worker at http://www.essay-writer.club/ doesn't like to buy alive tree. He prefers synthetic Christmas tree.
