A little of this and that
in May.
My brother's full
bush of hydrangeas
This is the most unusual
tree at one of my
Mickey ears for Nel.
I think even the weeds
have their own
have their own
My grandfather worked
on the railroads
near this train station
I see a lot of blue jays
around here.
Best friend bought me
these chocolate
covered strawberries,
A favorite shopping
Can you believe
May is almost over?

A delightful post. Photos of lovely this-and-that's around you. :-)
Oh sigh, we have such hydrangeas envy!!! When we put ours in, the bloomed to-the-moon. a little next year. then nothing, for years. My husband has done all the things-to-do-for-hydrangeas, and still nothing. -pout- :-)
What a delightful drawing of a girl, on your 'Quotes Journal'... :-) Love how highlights have been added, give depth, etc., to it.
GREAT pictures, Sheri! You sure do take good shots! LOVE that the chocolate strawberries have YOUR NAME on them. OF COURSE she had to get them for you! lol
Hope you have a wonderful day. xo Diana ps. that old tree is really cool!
Hi, I just love visiting your blog. You simply make me smile.
How did you like the strawberries?
I have heard of Shari's Berries and have always been curious about them.
I love the old tree!

No - I can't believe May is almost over. And it's been a messy month! Especially here. We're in disaster mode right now with all of this flooding - but our own home is okay. And my kids home's are all okay. We have so much to be thankful for.
Your journal is just gorgeous! And hydrangeas are my favorite flower...what big beautiful blooms! Enjoy your May day! Hugs, Diane
Sheri, You are our rose girl...where ever you go there are roses. :):) Love your journal. You should get a picture of Nel with those ears. My life feels as if it is on fast forward some times. Blessings, love you, Susie
Love from me Darling...almost june i can't believe it....love Ria...x!
Just Because is more than enough reason, isn't it? Love the hydrangea, my husband cut ours back without consulting me and it was the wrong time of year so it died. We've replaced it and from now on I'll put on the calendar the right time to prune!
Couldn't that huge tree tell a story if it could talk? I think I love the bark on trees almost as much as the leaves.
Your best friend must know you very well and has excellent taste!
A good week ahead to you, Sheri, during these last blessed days of this May,
Dewena
Your brother's hydrangeas are so beautiful. Mine bushes have been thriving after all the rain we've had. Your berries look delicious. I should treat myself.
Such beautiful photos, Sheri!
I cannot tell which one is my favorite!
Hugs and kisses, my friend!

The hydrangeas are gorgeous. Love their beautiful hues. I love train stations. They embody a spirit of adventure. LOVE Shari's Berries. Enjoy.
Good morning, beautiful!
The small delights of May. A blue jay, roses, strawberries? Of course. And more delights are on their way. And those moments of "Just because" are the most memorable. When we least expect, something special comes our way, and you deserve it all.
LOVE THOSE HYDRANGEAS!!!!!!!
Hello my dear friend,
Yes, I have been away from the computer for so long.. I have missed you too!
It is good to be back.. I just love this post.. So full of beauty.. I love the Hydrangeas! And that TREE Sheri.... I see a face on the top right.. Do you see it? Funny you posted photos of blue jays... This morning while pouring my coffee I looked out the window and two female jays were having a power struggle about who lands in the bush.. teeee.
I can't believe how fast this YEAR has gone, much less May...
Thank you so much for your most encouraging words about the boot... It was a joy to create.
love and blessings,
Penny

Those chocolates sure look good!!

Hello, lovely. No, I can't believe May's almost over. We're at the wedding half point and I'm in denial. :) So much left to do. Sigh...
Love how your love life shows through every detail, from the gorgeous hydrangea (lucky) to the pretty journal. I think sometimes weeds are beautiful too.
Love you too, Sheri, but I think you know that by now. :) :)
xoxo
Last year my daughter bought me the same exact berries. The company contacted me when I showed them in a post like you did and asked me to link to them. Being naive, I did it for free. :/
Love the hydrangeas Shari, and you managed to get a fabulous shot of that bluebird. Have a great weekend!
Love those Hydrangea's....I miss the ones we had at our old house. But one thing I didn't like was when I cut a stem or two to bring inside....was there was always a critter hiding in there. :) One time, it was a 'Katie-did'. She sang to me, but would have much preferred her be out of doors. :)
Those strawberries look delish! What a sweet gift.
You've shown us many things to love about May… which I agree is flying by.
XOXO Mary
Sheri - your pictures are just lovely and I especially like the hydrangeas.
All the best Jan
You're making me miss California, Sheri :)
