We're still seeing lots of autumn color here, and I am simply sitting with the beauty of it all before the long winter sleep.
My son cooked up a chicken dish, which was so delicious, with me enjoying two bowls of it that day. It tasted a little frenchie, with chicken, potatoes, carrots, and squash. It was such a comforting meal.
We watched the movie, Society of the Snow. I really don't have any words to describe this movie, and all the people in the plane crash except.....incredible.
Francesca took this spider web picture at her dad's work. I thought it was fitting for October.
And speaking of spiders, she has a wooly spider wrapped around her. Every time I see this spider at her house, it makes me cringe. It looks very real. 😱
*cute story. Charlotte wanted to dress up as Woody this year. Jess was going to dress up as a witch, because all the teachers planned to dress up as one. One day, Charlotte asked Jess, "mama, what are you going to dress up as?" She said, "probably a witch." Charlotte paused for a moment and replied, "are you sure you don't want to dress up as Jessie?" Jess felt bad, so decided to dress up as Jessie (from Toy Story).
I have been reading my devotional journal, and appreciate this gift very much.
I went to the vintage shop over the weekend, and they had a table set up with kitchen goodies in one room. I noticed some orange honey which looked really good. She said they get it from the city at the mill, which is about 50 minutes from here. My son loves honey, so I thought it would be nice for a Christmas gift. I bought the honey roasted pecans at the store to put in my oatmeal.
Tacos from leftover barbecue pork. When I make tacos, I usually put in meat, taco seasoning, bell peppers, onions, lettuce or avocado, tomatoes, sometimes ranch dressing (whatever I have on hand). I do make a mean taco. ; )
Nel made these monster sliders for lunch. *chicken, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a pretzel bun with a spicy mayo. She said they were so good, and so cute!
I hope autumn begins to paint your world in its true colors over the coming days.

One day on an autumn walk we discovered an orb weaver spider. It appeared she was sewing her web with a zigzag stitch. Your fall photos are fabulous.
Love that Peanuts cartoon! So cute.
And speaking of cute... Charlotte wanting her mom to match her Woody was adorable. She is a doll.
That slider looks delicious.
A very nice Fallish post for this cooler Monday. Its finally here! Have a blessed week, enjoying the lovely fall colors in your area! 🍁🍂
