Love In Nature And Home

I often see love in nature when spending time there.  Here are a few photos of love in nature and in the home.

The first flower in Winter.

Love heart-shaped rocks,
and especially ones with words on them.

The other day I saw a tree filled with black birds, and it was a sight.  There was a dozen of them, and their song was loud.

Somebody hung their tennis shoes on the power lines right next to the tree at the park.

Mama bird loves her babies so much, she made a nice nest for them, and it's the biggest nest I've seen.

This squirrel was having fun playing
with the tarp around the tree.

I thought this red berry bush was beautiful.

I saw this cup at Tuesday Morning,
and had to buy it.
I think it was meant for me.

Lovebirds at home,
 and Yellow-billed Magpies.

Valentine cards for the granddaughters.
Ever since I remember, I sent my kids Valentine cards, the ones we gave out in school, and continued to do this when they were adults.  Now, I send them to my grandchildren.  These cards show a different image when you tilt them.  I think they'll have fun with them.

(Nel and Jess, it was between the flamingos or Harry Potter this year).  ; )

loves you,
loves you not,
loves you.

I do not understand the shoe thing. Why do people do that?

Love is a power that can keep us occupied for a lifetime. How wonderful it is to discover its potential within us to share with the world. I also love how you noticed love in nature. I tend to see a tenderness, even amongst the realities of nature's need to survive sometimes in a brutal way...there is a love there that created it all.

Sheri dear, I hope all is well and I don't think I told you but my husband had a successful surgery and the results were BENIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sheri, I loved all your pictures. Today would have been my mom's birthday, my gosh I miss her so much . Your heart shape rock made me think she would have loved that. You know my mother loved purple the best, so the purple tint in the flower is what she would like. :) I am so glad you still send valentines. I try to remember that too. I think your grandgirls will love them. :) Blessings to you, love you, xoxo, Susie

As usual - I LOVE all your photos - each one could tell a different story.
The first flower was gorgeous - love that color.
I see the heart shape in the rock.
One thing I do love are flamingos - why they are so cute to me I don't know. I think squirrels are cute too - but have had so many in my attic - I am about done with them.
The truth will set us free.
Love, sandie

This post reminds me that spring will indeed come. I love the heart rock, Faith, and I'm such a sucker for flamingos, I couldn't help but smile! Loads of loveliness here1

The red berry bush adds such a brilliant color. I love it. Personally, I prefer to keep my tennis shoes in the closet, but each to his own.

Birds and squirrels: what a treat for us, Sheri. I have only seen a Blackbird once, in England, and I remember it to this day. They are so often met in song and poetry. Ha, people toss their sneakers over the power lines in Australia too - I wonder why they do it? And yes, you are right, that mug is definitely meant for you!

I just bought a Valentine to send to my grandson. You have two lucky little girls. Loved seeing the magpies. Not sure they are around my house. Love red berries! That maybe be a squirrel nest in the tree. We have nests like that that belong to squirrels.

OH, I LOVE that red berry bush! I would love to have one, whatever it is. and the lovebirds are adorable, as is the squirrel.

lovely and heartfelt images.

I think that squirrel was attempting to bite pieces of the tarp off to take to it's nest.

One of the many wonderful things about winter that I enjoy is how easy it is to see last seasons nest in trees.

Enjoy that beautiful rose for me. I won't see flowers growing until April and even then I will need to go in search for them.

Lovely February to you!

Too many pretty things, where do I start?
I love the heart-shaped red rock with Faith on it
as it reminded me just now how important it is
that we have faith in our hearts. I collect mugs, and that mug
with 'the truth shall set you free' is really lovely.
Just imagine drinking in that mug at the start of the day
and be reminded to be honest, I think would be a much better
place if we all start our day using a mug like that hahaha:)
I love the flower pics, and of course the flamingos♥

Have a wonderful day Sheri...love, love, love. ♥

Sheri - Your photos as always tell so much about your heart. You capture the best things through the lens of your camera. I hope you will tell me what those lovely blue and white birds are. We do not have them where I live. What handsome fellows! I am sure your grandchildren are going to love the valentine cards. Whew it is hard to believe Valentine's day is just around the corner now. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Thanks too for your visit and "encouraging words". Hugs!

Sheri,
Love the shoe shots! That's always been one of my favorite subjects. You captured nature beautifully. Hey, do you remember those little old-style valentines cards we used to share in elementary school!? And maybe in a paper sack? The good-ole days.
