Blowin' In The Wind

I watched a show recently about the singing group,
Peter, Paul and Mary, and it was so strange because I planned on using one of their songs on my next post.

I love Mary Traver's unique and soothing voice.

Some of their songs you may remember, Leaving on a Jet Plane, If I Had a Hammer, and my favorite, Blowin' in the Wind.  This is an old song that's special to me, as I sang it, along with others in a choir, when I was a young girl.  Please listen to the words.

Some yellow photos for end of the Summer.

And my favorite little splashes of yellow.

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind.

Love all the yellow! My favorite color! I do like Peter, Paul, and Mary. I have a funny story about Peter. Wondering if I should share. A few years ago he was at our street fair near our home. He was selling his children's book. I asked if I could take his picture and my husband wanted to be in the picture too because he is a huge fan. No, Peter only wanted me in the picture. Later I related that to friends that know his son and they told me he was quite the "womanizer". My husband was disappointed because he loved their music sooooo much. There music is still very special.

Love all the pictures.... I've heard some of the songs, but not overly familiar with the group :-) Yellow roses are one of my favorites! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Blessings,
Jill

Good morning Sheri dear! I'm back in the school building, preparing for next Tuesday's arrival of the students. The wind is telling me that the seasons are changing and so must my path. What a summer it's been, and I look forward to a new season of remarkable learning.

Love all your yellows; the yellows I'm seeing here however, are on the changing leaves of the trees.

Yes, my friend, the answer has always been and will always be in the Wind. And just when we think we've got the answer to one thing, the wind shifts and takes us to new altitudes, doesn't it? Love teaches us to use our wings over and over, again and again.
Love you, Huckleberry friend.
Have a lovely Labor Day.
