mother's day and my birthday

being only a day apart

this year.

from her trip.

at World Market.

Jess went back later and

bought it for me.

Have you ever had something

that smelled like your

childhood?

This candle smells like

something from my childhood,

but can't figure out what,

it's so pretty.
 

 

My son took my car in

to get it cleaned and detailed.

I thought it was a thoughtful gift.

 

My church gave a carnation
to every mother
after mass, wasn't that sweet?

The carnation is my

second favorite flower -

love the scent,

and they are long lasting.

Have you ever heard of a

spiced mug mat?

My best friend moved back here,

and we had lunch yesterday.

This was her gift.

You're supposed to put a

hot cup of tea or coffee on it,

and the spice scent fills the room.
I put it in my kitchen.
 

I even got myself something

when I was shopping

with the girls.
