Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa is officially
canonized as a Saint
by Pope Francis.

Pope Francis arrives to lead mass and the
canonization of Mother Teresa
at Saint Peter square in the Vatican.

She is known for
dedicating her life to working
with the poor in India.

Through the years
we have appreciated her quotes.
This is one of my favorites.

Mother Teresa,
Saint Teresa,
I love you so.

Mother Theresa was truly a saint among us, Sheri. Her work in Calcutta will always bring deep emotion as she followed the example of our Lord and Savior. ♥

Hello Sheri,
I read the most amazing book about Mother Theresa. I agree, her quotes are very special and I am happy we have them to hold on too.

I went to hear Her speak in Australia, years ago. Very inspiring and worthy of sainthood. Thank you for sharing this Sheri.

What a great share, my friend. To give until it hurts ... I'd only add to her beautiful words, to give in spite of how much it hurts, way past the pain, until we pass from this life to our next life.
You give much, dearest Sheri. Keep giving. Love actually means to give.

Only God knows how many thousands of people she helped in her earthly life. She loved the poorest of the poor, the dying, those with maggots on their sores, and so on. God bless that woman. She sure deserves to be a saint! Susan

Many people understand that sacrifice is the ultimate demonstration of love, but few actually act it out. She was definitely a saint when she was on this earth and always will be. Bless you my friend!

Sheri, a lovely post to honor the canonization and no one person more deserving. An iconic, inspirational, humanitarian so selfless in her endeavors in helping to make this world a better place. Ethereal in life, immortal in spirit. Thank you for this rememberance and in sharing with us your thoughts.

What a beautiful quote, Sheri, from Mother Theresa. Isn't it wonderful that we lived during her time here and can say we 'knew' a saint? She was surely the most inspirational woman of our time and perhaps all time. She was the true embodiment of love and mercy. Sending hugs xo Karen
