A Little Something For Jess

I got my ears pierced!........again.

I had them pierced when I was growing up, then again a few years ago, but one of them closed so I had them re-pierced this week.  I wanted to be able to wear pretty earrings to Jess' wedding.  They have an after care cleanser now that makes the healing process in three weeks instead of six!  Now I can wear pretty dangling earrings once again,

and casual hoops.

So, there you go.
Surprise Jess!
I got my ears pierced for
your wedding!

How pretty...all of the photos! And I'm so happy for you, I know you'll be so glad you did. I wanted to get a second hole in each of my ears for my 60th birthday...but I ended up doing it a year later. Now I can wear a dangly earring in my original hole and a stud in the second one. I love it! ENJOY!!! Hugs, Diane

How sweet.

I'm sure Jess will be very pleased.

I too have had one, close up. -sigh-

Keep enjoying your earrings. And that should help to keep the "holes" happy. :-)

I love pretty dangling earrings! I had my ears pierced twice decades ago and each time had problems and gave up on them. So enjoy yours for me too!

Sheri, When I had my ears pierced , it was in the drs. office and with real gold studs. You just wore the earrings and cleaned the whole thing, earlobes and earrings, but you had to turn the earring around so the hole didn't grow to the stud. :) I let my girls get their ears pierced at 13. I basically wear gold or silver hoops. Nothing heavy, as that could elongate the hole. I bet Jess is surprised Sheri. Now think of all the nice earrings you will get for gifts. :) Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

Oh Sheri, this is something else, because my left ear did the same thing!
I just recently had mine redone too and then my dear daughter Amanda, gave my a set of earrings to match hers.
I love pierced ears as the selection of earrings is so great.
These are beautiful and you will be a stunning Mother of the Bride.
Love,
Jemma

oh what fun you'll have choosing earrings for your daughter's wedding and for everyday life. hoping it didn't hurt too much to have the new piercings - and hoping they'll heal as quickly as promised!

It sounds like big doings in your world with the wedding! I love the earrings. Mine were done not until I was in my 30s! So far, haven't closed up! I'm not sure I could handle the trauma again!

I hope you will post wedding pics. I bet it will be fabulous!

Dearest Sheri! GOOD MORNING! I barely look at my blog anymore, thinking not as many people visit it anymore, and when I saw the number of comments this morning, I thought it hadn't changed since the last time I looked, but I took a chance and THERE YOU WERE!

You visited my Instagram! And my little flaxen-haired fairy is my neighbor! Her mum gave me permission to photograph her and share the photo. She has the most beautiful white-blond hair and she fit perfectly into my tight little garden space!!!!

Enjoy the Greek festival this weekend my friend! MUCH LOVE! Anita

How fun to be able to wear earrings again! My 15 year old 're-pierced' her ears a few weeks ago, herself. I had no idea what she was doing in the bathroom and she came out with earrings in. I guess she was determined to get the earrings back in. Now if she was only that determined to get good grades... :)

Dear Sheri, Congrats on the ear piercing. I know after you heal you will love being able to wear all those pretties once again. Love the photos you share. Some really gorgeous earring designs here.
Loved the Starbucks lucky day too. Isn't that nice when a total stranger does something so special like that?

Wishing you and your sweet family a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
Love to you and many blessings. xo

Yay for you!! I've had my ears pierced twice; 2 holes in each ear. However, one set has grown back together and I've really been thinking of having them done again. Where did you go?
