I wish it would snow here! Where I live it doesn't snow, and I'd love to see this fluffy white stuff in my neck of the woods. If I travel to the mountains about an hour away, I can frolic in the snow, but wouldn't it be nice to open your front door and see a blanket of white flakes covering your yard? Our blog friends are from so many different places in the world, and I'm curious to know if it snows in your area. Do tell us, would you?

Well here in the UK we see snow, for me (I live on the beach) not so much, but it still comes. Mind you the whole of Britain comes to a standstill with only an inch of the lovely white stuff on the ground!! x
It can
Hi Sheri,
It definitely does snow here in Montreal, Canada, and I love the snow! It is beautiful, clean, and the air smells fresh, too. I love the image you are sharing! :)
I've enjoyed the snow in the past but now I prefer to be in Florida in the winter months. When I lived in the mountains of NC, I sure had fun getting out on snowy mornings and 'tracking'. That's what I called it...looking for the tracks of animals and birds in the snow. Hugs, Diane
Sheri Dear,
I grew up with snow, and I will always miss it, especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
We do get snow in North Texas at least once a year though!
Love,
Jemma
I grew up in Wisconsin and so I miss snow here in California. But I am overall happy with the temperate weather here. That painting /card is extra cute.
We often say that we would love for it to snow here, at least occasionally. I too would love to look out of the window and see everything covered with a blanket of snow! That won't be happening here ha ha.
Enjoy your day Sheri!
XOXO Mary
No snowing in my wood,I would be so happy!
I wish you a beautiful day !
Sweet Sheri, You made me smile. I bet the people of Boston aren't thinking this. LOL. I will tell the one thing I do like about snow here in Indiana....especially the first one....it makes the earth look so clean. It hides so many things...like piles of rubbish around someone's home or garage. The trees are so pretty with a bit of snow on every branch. I loved the little picture. Blessings, love you girl, Susie
Sheri, we get snow a few times each winter. It's wonderful to see the white wonderland. My daughter lives in New Hampshire and it snows too much there for her! Have a great weekend. xo ♥
Hi Sheri,
How right you are.. If I traveled up to the mountains about 2 hours away I could play in the snow, but yes, how wonderful it would be to step out the door and see a beautiful fluff of snow.. What a sight that would be to see snow tipped roses... Have you had very cold evenings Sheri? It went down to 32 degrees the past few nights... What a change, yes? That's California for you. I am looking forward to rain, but not el nino... This makes me very unsettled..
This sweet illustration! I wish I could help you, but not sure who the artist is.. Upon first glance I thought maybe my dear friend and artist, the face is similar to her work... But she would have signed, so because I am not sure, will not mention her name. I am really curious now, and if anyone else knows I would be interested to know.
Thank you so much for visiting, and leaving such a kind note.. Oh did I miss the movie? Was it on TV? I have been waiting to watch it once again, they usually play it this time of year..
blessings to you dear friend

Good Evening Sheri, Oh yes, we certainly do have snow here in the north of England. About 4 years ago now, the snow was so deep that we could not drive our car, we had to walk everywhere. Although we have snow, it can last a day, a week or a couple of weeks, so we are never really equipped to deal with it. It seems that when it snows, life stands still. I really don't mind, because I stay indoors, keep warm and then I don't feel so guilty about sitting down and spending so much time quilting.
Have a lovely weekend Sheri.... we are experiencing gales and torrential rain at the moment.
Best Wishes
Daphne
Sheri,
Yes lots and lots of snow the past few years in Philadelphia. i love watching it fall down and stick as it softy accumulates over night. It muffles the sound of cars in the city since no one is driving around. It's a wonderful sound the sound of silence in freshly fallen snow, pure white each flake unique, all pristine .... Then the morning arrives, dogs on their walk tint it yellow and kids run through the lawns and plows turn it all darkened and ugly. Huge piles are formed and come February you think all those tall huge piles will never melt. But then the cycle of seasons freshen the ground and nature goes through renewal and then around this time (November) you long and pray for snow!
xoxo,
Vera
Love the look of snow all over the ground, white and soft but it's cold and that's the down side.
Merle................
No snow here in Holland....and u am verry glad About That....i hate snow.....brrrrrrr.......love from je Ria happy weekend x
Yes, here in the UK we do get snow ... more in the Northern parts than the South. It can look so pretty when it snows, and the grandchildren get so excited when it does. They always hope the snow is deep enough to build a snowman.
I do like the picture you've used for this post Sheri.
Wishing you a Happy Weekend
All the best Jan
Hi Sheri,
We don't have snow that often here, it's usually ice which everyone hates. A few years ago we did have a White Christmas! Started snowing Christmas Eve and then again on Christmas Day. It was truly beautiful! I think it's just so quiet and peaceful and makes the world seem all bright and clean again.
We lived in Amarillo 10 years. Moved there during the summer and in early Feb snow was predicted. I sat up and watched it almost all night! Street light on the corner lit up the area nicely. It snowed 17" that night, 6' drifts and the city was almost shut down. That was my first experience with that much snow and it was like a winter wonderland for me!
I hope you find some snow to enjoy this winter.
xo

Oh Sheri, does it snow here? Oh yeah. It sure does. And I dont want it YET. No no no no no. Stay away snow. It is SUCH a hassle when you can barely open the door. ha! I like it when I'm curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace. Then, let it snow, let it snow , let it snow. But. NOT YET. ha haha Susan
Dear Sheri,
No snow here and we have to travel about. 5 hours to have a day skiing
I love the sweet picture you have shared.
Enjoy the weekend dear friend
Hugs
Carolyn
Yes we do have snow where I live, but as yet no snow..Very mild at the moment.
Christmas is a time for wishing for snow, but if I was you, I'd travel to see it and live in your beautiful sunshine.
Why yes it snows here, but we most of the time get covered in Ice!
I myself could simply skip Winter and go directly into Spring
Of course we would not want to skip the Holidays, just the weather :)
Have a wonderful weekend

Oh, does it ever snow here in Minneapolis! HI MY FRIEND! Well, we should have snow by now, but we don't. It's even supposed to reach 60 tomorrow and the other night, we got a thunderstorm, but if it would have been cold enough, we'd be frolicking right now in the white stuff. I so hope you will one day see a white Christmas. How are you?
Oh Sheri, yes it would be nice because its hot as an oven here in Palm Beach... I can't believe this is November :( Have a wonderful weekend my friend.
xoxo

My in my life time in San Francisco, we,ve had a few times of lite snow but never stayed or lasted long. But up north visiting with my aunts and uncles we would often get snow high as the house get snowed in and my uncle would have to dig us out. And we'd have to stay longer till the roads were cleared I've been up on Mount Shasta many times sled riding ice skating snow is beautiful but have to be carefare cant be dangerous if your not careful. Happy weekend my dear with love Janice
After living in Cold, snowy Cleveland Ohio and Chicago - I love love love So CA. How can you not love living in the happiest place on Earth - yes, Disneyland is only 3 miles away from Fullerton. Although sometimes Paradise gets a little boring LOL
Have a great week,
Hugs,
Mary
Oh Mary, I wouldn't want to live any other place than California. I just wish I saw the snow more often, but I'm not too far from it if I want to drive there and play and enjoy. : )
Hi Sheri, Snow here in Southern Ontario? Oh yes, I could regale you with stories of snow!! While I have grown to love and appreciate all the four seasons that we get here...I agree with Susan NOT YET!!! Forecasts are actually predicting a milder winter this year...We'll see if they're right!
Yes, it snows in our area. All the way from November through April and once in a while, a snowstorm in May. Believe me, by March we are thoroughly sick of it. LOL But I'm sure if it never snowed I would miss it -but only at Christmastime.
Oh yes, it does snow here in Massachusetts! I think snow is lovely to LOOK at, but after that's done and overwith, I'm ready to move on :).
xxx
Most of the time here we have a Tender Tennessee Christmas, but every few years we do have beautiful snow, sometimes on Christmas Day. That's a gift all by itself!
But anything except ice will suit me fine!
Oh yes, we get snow here and I love looking at it too. My favorite thing to do is go out in early evening after a fresh snowfall and go for a little walk. The snow is so bright that it lights up the night and it sparkles .... looking forward to it, so far all we've had is rain.
We usually get snow here.It is pretty falling, but I don't get out in it.
Scared of falling...anyway I am a Summertime person!
