A Little Of This And That

A lady bug visited me yesterday, and it landed on my yellow rose.  It was very still, so I touched it to see if it was alive, and it crawled up my hand and said hello.

I saw this sunrise early one morning, and I thought the light shining on the grass was pretty while I enjoyed my morning coffee.

I was inside the church by myself one day, and as I looked over at the stained glass windows on the side of the church I noticed something softly peeking through the window.  Can you see it?

It was a single rose.  I took a few pictures of it against the different colored stained glass.

The clouds were so pretty
this morning.

The holiday Starbucks cups
are out.  One for me,
and one for Jess, as she loves
all things miniature.

Happy first day of November!

My beautiful friend, what a find. What a special, original and rare moment to see a single rose in the stained glass. This is one of the many reasons why I adore you. You see the details and you celebrate them. I celebrate with you right now, at this moment. HAPPY NOVEMBER!

The stained glass is beautiful and I thought the rose was part of the pattern.
My favorite mug for winter is a Starbucks, given by a friend. It has a metal bottom, ceramic top and keeps my coffee or tea warm for ages...lovely!

Happy November First to you too, Sheri, such lovely photos to begin the new week and month with.
It is all of the small details of life that make up the big picture isn't it, and you always see them and their beauty.
Your Church windows are beautiful, I love stained glass windows.
Do you remember the song about Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home?
My Mother would always sing that song to me when we spied a ladybug.
Have a lovely week, Sheri,
Love,
Jemma

Wow the stained glass. I wish I had some in my house. Yellow roses are so lovely, it would be amazing to see more of them around! My husband bought me some beautiful orange, red and yellow flowers today which really brightened up the day.

You DO know that lady bugs are harbingers of good luck, don't you? And I'd say it was a stroke of good luck that you spotted that lovely rose. Finding roses comes naturally to you Sheri, but that's probably because they seek you out, knowing you'll do them justice with your lovely photos.

Not sure how I missed these gorgeous photos! The "Yellow Rose of Texas" is beautiful ~ especially with the ladybug on it. :) I'm so glad you noticed the pink rose! It's almost like a watercolor with the stained glass.

Coffee is a must! :)
