A Small Gift For Me

I went to the Christian store on this Sunday afternoon, and something caught my eye.  It was a picture of a white horse!  I loved the verse also, and really needed to hear it today.  Since I am a store member, it was also 25% off.  I just had to get it.

With some white roses from my garden.
Sometimes words of comfort
reveal themselves
when you need them the most.

Have a restful Sunday.

I hope all is well Sheri, I love all your fall essences in the previous post. Fall whispers to me as well, I can't wait till the temps drop about 10 degrees.

Oh my word.....

Well, white horses are my weakness, and on top of that, this scripture is power, freedom, PEACE. Dearest Sheri, what a joy it is to come here to be with YOU, and I see our dearest Penny is here too. She and I had loads of fun today on Nowhere, and she started a fun post that sent us laughing....

The joy of the Lord is OUR strength! Ride on into hope with your white steed...I'll be following. XOXOXO

Dearest Sheri,
This is such a beautiful and comforting Bible Verse. You know last year my heart was hurting and through much prayer, Bible study and God's love He made me stronger and blessed me with a heart that was able to forge through some things. Thank you for sharing your love of our sweet Heavenly Father.

Dear Sheri, I believe that God sends us what we need at just the right moment if we are listening. Thank you for reminding me to listen. Your roses and white horse with scripture are perfect. Have a lovely evening! ♥

It is such a powerful verse, Sheri, one of God's promises that sustain us. And a horse is such a beautiful powerful creature, almost a symbol of the verse. And I can't help but think that the white roses from your own garden symbolize our own fragile beauty.

Love to you, dear Sheri,

Hi Sheri,
My mistake... You did say picture, not book.. No matter what, it is beautiful.
How sweet of you to take time to leave me such a kind note about my sketch.
I am really enjoying drawing for now.

So true. Comfort, Encouragement and Faith words are around the corner for us. Either from the mouth of friends or in gorgeous prints like this one.
I Love it. I love horses; they always look so regal and so pleased with simple things of life. And so Free.
So happy that roses are still blooming in your garden and God Reaching his hand to hold you.

No truer words Sheri, I too found comfort in the words and beauty in your roses, thanks for posting. I used to ride a White horse as a kid, she was gentle and beautiful.

I have a weakness for white horses. They seem almost other worldly to me.

Such beautiful and comforting words. I do hope you're ok Sheri...
