Oh Diane, I haven't traveled to these places either. The china hutch was a gift from my husband many years ago, and it was made in Italy. And the doll was from my blog friend, Jill, who lives in France, and she sent it to me. It's something I will always treasure. :~)

Isn't it great that the things that make us happy and can easily put on a smile in our faces are just little things and sometimes not really expensive. Most of the time its the memories that go along with acquiring them and sometimes the fact that they are just so pretty. My mug and teacup collection makes me happy so does my stationery collection.
Love your favorite things ESPECIALLY the figurine and tea cups,
they are so pretty and I totally understand why they are precious to you.
