I don't make new year's resolutions any more because, well there are many reasons why, so when I saw this quote on my friend, Teresa's blog, I had to share it with you.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday Sheri even while missing your father in law. I was away visiting family and am now getting back to blogging.
Lilac is one of my favorite scents and where i live now, the only way to get the scent is through candles as lilacs don't do well here.
