A Splendid Day
Last weekend, we went to an outdoor mall called Santana Row. It had a very cool atmosphere with restaurants and shops throughout the mall and on every corner. We had lunch at a tea time place, which was so lovely. I felt like I was in England, ordering my cucumber sandwiches and English Breakfast tea. Here's a few pictures of our fun weekend.

It looks like a wonderful day. I like that pretty teacup, the napkin ring, and my favorite photo of all is the second one. The lovely colors of the wall with the delicate iron work stands out to me. I could spend a bit of time there with my wide angle and macro lens capturing all that beautiful detail.

Such lovely pictures, of a lovely afternoon tea with a beautifully presented serviette. How I'd love to drink tea from that rose design tea cup, so English. I must get my lovely teacup out from the china cupboard. ( not really, but that's what my grandmother would have said )Lovely post.

Dear and lovely friend,
Isn't it a lovely atmosphere, a place were you can relax, have tea, be with kind and loving friends and family? You still have a summer, but we are moving toward darker, shorter and very enchanting days. It's tea time for me tonight because I've got a sore throat and sniffles. But that's OK. Rest, tea and taking it easy is part of my October! SPLENDID!

Happy Birthday to Jessie. Sounds like you girls had a great time at Santarom. I love that place - great stores and restaurants. When I go visit my son who lives in Los Gatos we always go there. It is a very lovely area.

Just my kind of place! There's an Anthropologie there too! I love to have a wander round there (and treat myself!) whenver I go down to London. As for the tea place, it looks wonderful. The tea cup, cutlery and napking ring are all just perfect. What a beautiful pearl heart pendant! This was a lovely way to celebrate a special birthday.

Lovely way to celebrate birthday with family! The photo of Bougainvillea is so striking. I remember my aunt used to have one in her garden many years ago, and it was a glorious sight.
