Thank you for taking us downtown with you... ;) That sundae is calling my name, although the weather is definitely turning here. Crisp, but sunny. Wonderful photos, giving us a glimpse of a vibrant, exciting city. Hugs to you, - Irina
I enjoyed this little tour of Downtown and I'm sure I would have liked the sundae too! A trip down Memory Lane with the Petula Clark song. I haven't heard it for such a long time. An uplifting song!
My first hot fudge sundae I have ever eaten was on a trip thru East America with my parents in the end 70s! I have never forgotten it - it was sooo delicious! Nice that you made me remembering it :) Barbara
Oh love, love this song and I too have wonderful memories of Hot Fudge Sundae's. My Mom's very favorite. There were many times when we would each get one from our local drive in, in the sleepy little farm town seven miles from home. It sort of became a tradition for us, after we had completed our Saturday afternoon grocery shopping. Happy Thursday, Sheri- Love, Jemma
I always loved that song...and now I'll be singing it! Your photos are wonderful. It's nice to walk around and take a few photos of things you see every day. It's nice for US! Hugs, Diane
Oh my friend, you have taken me back to when I was just a kid.....I used to LOVE to go DOWNTOWN Los Angeles with my parents. We'd go to Olvera St., to the Million Dollar Theatre for a movie, and this song would be playing. I immediately fell in love with the cosmopolitan life.
Hi Sheri - Love Petula and love that song! So nice to go downtown for a treat. Love the yellow house and all the interesting sights. Hope your week's end is sweet. Hugs xo Karen

I have not tried the pumpkin muffins from Starbucks, but if you like gingerbread, be sure to try theirs around the holiday time. Oh my, it is amazing. :)

I remember the song well. and a time when I was very much part of the Sydney city life but now content to sit at home.
