This Is The Time To......

Happy November,
loves!
This is the time
to give thanks,

be with family,

and eat lots of turkey!

It is a time to
get out the warm
sweaters,

and sip on
hot drinks during
the cold, frosty
month.

Do you have
any special plans
in November?

Lovely photos!
Well, one of my plans is to finally finish a blanket I've been trying to crochet since May! (It wasn't my fault: The shop couldn't find the correct colours!!!)
;-)
Enjoy this new month, my friend!
Hugs and kisses!

Hi Sheri!
Yes it can be a bleak month but it is great when you can get all cozy and sip on those beloved hot drinks,
and curl up with a favourite afghan and a book.
Novemeber is a reason to relax with all things "comfortable" that we love so much!
Love and hugs to you and your girls!

Hey Sheri, indeed I love November although it often rains in Hamburg, the sky is grey and it is beginning to get cold. But this is also the time of candles, meetings with friends and family, eating goose (no turkey in Germany :) - it's called "Martinsgans/Martin's goose") and looking forward to Christmas. So, let's welcome November!
Hugs, Barbara

Lovely images, Sheri! Love the angel figurine.

Nothing planned for november yet, but I'm sure there will be some Christmas shopping to add on my list.

We don't have a day such as Thansgiving here in Holland, but years ago I made a little gratitude book, where I jotted all things I'm thankful for.

Love,
B.

A special month indeed Sheri! For us, it is (first and foremost) a remembrance of the Armistice of Compiegnes in 1918 (we are a military family with grandfathers who fought in the trenches for 4 years), then Granny's birthday (13th), a spunky lady to whom I owe a lot (she raised me) and then of course Thanksgiving Day, a holiday we have adopted cheerfully (who does not like such abundance on a table?) and the history behind it!
As long as we are together, have a roof over our head and bread on the table, there is much to give 'Thanks' for!
Happy November Dear!

What a beautiful post Sheri! Yes, autumn is truly upon us and we are gearing up for the holidays in our house. First off I'm prepping my online boutique for some holiday sparkle (I love my little photo shoot days). We do have a getaway coming up for my husband's bday and a little girlfriends getaway to San Francisco for a couple of days. So far things are looking good.
Have a wonderful weekend with your darling family!

It's certainly a time for cosy sweaters and hot drinks. The temperatures have certainly fallen over here. Just seeing those turkeys reminds me of Christmas too!

Hi Sheri,

This year we will be here for Thanksgiving. I plan on preparing a few Thanksgiving dishes that I usually make for husband and myself. We will be heading for Dallas, TX to spend Christmas with our daughter and grandkids.

I'm still waiting to pull out some of my sweaters. Hopefully, that won't be to much longer.

Hello precious one,

I just saw your comment as I am working on my next blog post; it is getting chillier here now too, but it's still "mild" for our region at this time of year! The sun is shining so beautifully, the temps are bearable, but cool, and tomorrow a swift wind is due to come. It will be fun to have one more hour with daylights savings!

BIG HUGS TO YOU! Anita

My beautiful Sheri! HELLO!

How is your third day of November going? We are having the gustiest winds, blowing so many of the leaves off the trees! My blogger pal in the state of Washington reports having had strong winds yesterday that have knocked out the power, and I knew those winds would make it to us!

Thank you for visiting and yes, isn't Jade's photography breathtaking? I want to go to another castle soon; I saw so many in France and it was literally like a fairytale. Be well my sweet friend and enjoy a grand week! Anita

No. No special plans or ideas. Just living the day by day and embracing what comes.

We don't have Thanksgiving - we should, every nation should (to stop for a while, in togetherness, and find what defines and unites us) but we don't.

But I want to think I'll be thankful plenty of times during November and I hope tyo create occasion for others to feel the same about me, my gestures, my sharings. (we - me and dear husband - made a trip yesterday that went along this pattern; I hope to do a post on it soon.)

Happy November, Sweet Friend and to your Gorgeous and Lovely Family.

Yours,
Teresa

PS - glad I don't have the turkey deal ;) though, I'm the only one enjoying and I'd be eating turkey from November to May ahahahahahah

Hi Sherri, one thing I would like to do is also eat lots of roast turkey. YUM. November is finally here and my most-awaited holiday is coming soon. I can't wait.

Hope you are having a wonderful week dear friend.

Hi Sheri!

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comment.

So exciting that Nel will be doing the Thanksgiving dinner! I'm sure she'll do a great job. The simpler the better! I still remember my first attempt, not bad at all. Once you master the big bird you can do about anything. I've always used a turkey cooking bag and it turns out gorgeous and moist every time with lots of juice for gravy. That's what will be happening at our house this month. I look forward to it every Thanksgiving!

Many blessings, Edie Marie

With Michael Bublé kicking off November for me so fabulously, I'm very grateful. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all...last morsel of autumn.
Our family starts the day off with a football tournament our son has organized for three years. The rest of the day is all about cooking, sharing recipes, watching the Macy's parade (favorite tradition) which now I record due to the tournament, and more football on TV followed by Christmas movies in the evening. I love it all but honestly, I'm getting tired of the cooking and would love to order from a restaurant...I'm out-voted though.
As far as Christmas, it's always too melancholy for me and the expectations kill me, but I do love the music and of course, the movies.
Enjoy it all, friend.

Was fun going through all your posts today, loved your Halloween. :)
