My Long Walks
One of my favorite things to do is go on long walks with my husband. There is much beauty to be found only a few blocks from my home. With Autumn lingering on, I appreciate all that it has to offer.
I'm still enjoying Fall,
but I have to say,
I'm starting
to get into the
Christmas spirit.

Your talent for photography is fantastic. You capture nature in all its finest. How wonderful! I also like getting ready for Christmas, as do you. Thanks for the post.
Such beautiful pictures. I love the one of the dogs. I always think I won't be able to handle the end of summer and then autumn comes and I am so happy. Then I think I won't be able to give up autumn and the I get grabbed by the joy of the coming holidays. It's all so wonderful. I love it all !
You REALLY take GOOD pictures, Sheri, What kind of camera are you using? What a wonderful walk you had! xo Diana
Good morning Sheri! Your photos are so pretty. You have truly captured fall in California. That tennis court looks familiar I think I may have played there as a kid.
I am so thrilled that you love the star from my stylemindchic boutique! You have a great eye for style and that is a beautiful piece. Thanks for you business ;) and enjoy!!
xx, Heather
Hi Sheri! ;)
I enjoy long walks with my husband too, especially if we stop to take beautiful pictures like you did!
I'm starting to get excited about Christmas as well!
Sheri,
Beautiful photos and inspiration on this Fall day. My husband and I take long walks too and they are always relaxing and enjoyable. I am with you, I am looking forward to Christmas too-I have a little secret-I have been listening to Christmas music!

Jemma
I love taking long walks too
and its true that clears your mind
and if you're doing it with someone you love the fun would be double plus it is good for the heart.
Love your pics
they are so stunning.
It's a beautiful time of year to get out and walk and you take such wonderful photos. I love the pretty roses. We are trying to get out at least once a week for a long walk and shorter ones in between. It's a plan...I hope a good one! Hugs!
Dear Sheri,
Beautiful pictures, I enjoyed them,as if I took a walk with you.
Dog image is especially sweet.

Hi Sheri, such lovely pictures of nature. the dogs are adorable. Walking is great with so much beauty around us. I see you commented on Debbie's Winter header I created for her. It's makes us both happy. xo Linda
I never get borred seeing Autumn photos, I guess it's because of their glorious colors. The little Dachshund is so cute all dressed up, it made me long for Christmas.
Hugs,
B.
Amazing the the beautiful things that adorn the world and one meets when going through a stroll.
And you just have to pay attention on everything and everyone that's enjoying the same path - of beauty, peace, fullfilement - looking back at you and your dear husband. Who meanwhile improve his patience abilities while you click away to bring these wonderment to us.
Much appreciated and delighted,
Teresa

I like long walks too. Wish I had more time for them at the moment- but it's definitely an activity worth making time for. Your photos are always so exquisite. I am so impressed and it is always a joy to see.

Oh that little pup at the end...my goodness, how nature makes me so happy!
Good morning Sheri! I had a long but wonderful night last night with my poetry group, so I am rather late here! What a beautiful walk! You still have leaves on your trees; ours are all blown off now, and winter will be covering the branches soon with magical crystals and a blanket of white. I can't wait.
Much love! Anita
Your photography is outstanding! I also enjoy walking and taking in the beauty! Have a wonderful week.

Hi Sheri, it's nice to meet you! I'm Melanie from the Comfy House blog. I see that you'll be on Jemma's Tis the Season Blog Tour with me, so I thought I'd get to know you and your blog beforehand. Your photos are beautiful and it's so nice to see that it's still fall where you live. All the trees here in northern IL are stripped bare. I've added your blog so my list of favorites on my blog roll...I hope that you'll visit me over at my blog and become a follower of my blog, also!
Long walks are wonderful, Sheri. We've been so busy that I haven't enjoyed one in a long time. My husband walks every morning on his way to the office. I don't go to the office with him every day, but I think it's a good habit of his, clears his mind. I might start it again soon now that you mention it.
I could smell Jess' cookies as I write. :)
And this blog tour sounds wonderful. Might join in.
