It's a celebration of Greece at Disneyland!
As two girls who just love our Greek heritage passed down to us from our mom, we had to join in all the magical fun! There was lively Greek dancing...
...and classical decor...
...even Mickey was all decked out in traditional fustanella attire!
Afterwards we treated ourselves to a decadent dessert at California Adventure's Golden Vine Winery.
Hopefully one day we will all visit beautiful Greece together...
...but until then we can enjoy the magic of travel at the happiest place on earth.
Where have YOU "traveled" to lately, friends?

I travel every single day to France, England, California, The Netherlands, ANYWHERE my blog friends live. Oh what a great time you must have had! I remember visiting Disneyland in Anaheim as a child. THANK YOU NEL! Anita
Mickey is the cutest "tsolias" I've ever seen! :)
Glad you had fun!
Hi Nel, This is so fun and you never know what Disneyland will do next! Such a magical place and looks like your family had a wonderful and memorable visit:) I'll be there in September with my daughter and we are looking forward to it.

This is awesome, Nel!
And what a great idea from Disney; I'm sure many people did appreciate the playful atmosphere while being (re)connected with their ancestries and the pulls of their Culture.
How do you, and Jess, feel about your Cultural Heritage? Is there a pull or a kind of recognition? Or is it "just" something that was transmited by Sherri and you play along?
I'm asking this because I was raised on a different region from where I live. I was raised there until I was around 10. And though being on the same Country it is, was, an entire different "world": with different ways and culture. And now, as an adult, when I return there, I feel my all being recognising where I belong... there's even a different way of talking (accent) that I automatically assume as soon as I enter the boundaries and meet "my" people.
Thank you for sharing the cheerfulness and happy feelings of your outing.
Blessings,
Teresa
Hi Nel :)
Beautiful even and photos! My sister lived in Greece for 7 years, she was the one who influenced me to fall in love with Greece and Greek food! I would have loved to attend this event myself!
