City Of Love

Nel has been very stressed out lately with work and other demands that have come her way.  Along with teaching, she has also taken on two other job responsibilities on top of that.  I want to tell her to try and stay focused, and soon she will be on her long awaited trip to Paris.

Where she will delight in the charming cafes there.

Look upon the amazing statues and museums.

And take in all the beautiful sites.

It won't be long, Nel, until you and this sparkling city meet again.

It will be everything you and your new husband every dreamed of.

A N T I C I P A T I O N...not only for Nel but for all of us who are DYING to see some of those gorgeous pics I'm sure she will share with us. ;)
Hang in there, Nel, the best things always take their time.
Got your name down for the Somewhere in Time tag, Sheri. Glad you liked it. Always a favorite of mine.
Busy considering a blog move to Wordpress so you can only imagine. I figured I might as well put my moving momentum to work online as well. ;)
Have a beautiful evening, my friend.
XOXO's,

How wonderful a trip to the city of LOVE, for the newly weds! Have you been there yourself, Sheri? For us it has been a little trip on Valentines Day for years. I live 5 hours (drive) from Paris.

Love,
B.

SHE is going to have the time of her life. I will never forget the feeling I got when I emerged from the Metro only to turn around to see Notre Dame sitting there....ancient and glorious, and there I WAS, seeing it for the first time. Then there are the bakeries, the museums, THE PARKS, the people. I hope she speaks French. It is WAY MORE FUN when you can speak to the French; they love it. OH, the Champs Elysées is great fun.. I saw some of the female store merchants dressed in sleek black dresses and crisp white aprons, sweeping the steps of their shops...SO PARISIAN!

Oh Sheri, have a fantastic day! Anita

Wouldn't mind all the stress if I was having the get-me-up in Paris ahahahahah

But it comes in the right time. It's time to step back and reevaluate what HAS to go. Life is to be lived and enjoyed not slaved away, sweet Girl.

But all that will be out of your mind and body once you stop at Montmartre Stairs and have Paris at your feet - literally. Going from there to the Pigalle, through those pitoresque streets, while stopping for some Nutella Crépe and you'll have difficulty in remember what you were worried about ahahah

Enjoy and Have Lots of FUN! Mandatory to grab breakfast and have it at Tulleries while Sun is going up and you decide your Tourist Day.

Love,
Teresa

I bet she is so excited to be heading there soon, I know I would! It seems like a lifetime since I was there and while it was a brief weekend stay, I loved the atmosphere and beauty of the city! There was so much to see and we just did not have the time. Someday...maybe again, I hope!

I wish you a happy and relaxing weekend! :)

I'm sure she will relax the minute she arrives in Paris. She must be so excited. I have been fortunate to go there many times and I never tire of this wonderful city. I like to visit favourite places but there's always something new to discover too. Thank you so much for your lovely comment this week.
