Pizza & A Movie

There's nothing quite like homemade pizza, don't you agree? Well then, let's make some! We'll let the dough set for about 20 minutes...

Chop up a few fresh veggies (peppers and green onions happen to be a favorite of mine)...

Add a little sauce...

And some cheese...

A bit of prosciutto...

And there you have it!

Done already? Well then, let's dig in!

Shall we put on a movie? This one always makes me smile.

My favorite part is when Francesca (Diane Lane) is learning to cook and finally makes a beautiful Italian meal to the applause of all her new friends. Cooking is an art, don't you think?

What dish do you like to make with your favorite movie?

My daughter always wants me to make my homemade spaghetti sauce when she comes home. It is her favorite. We love a lot of the old classic movies...and always watch It's A Wonderful Life in December. xo Diana

I LOVE the pizza you made. I use prosciutto for lots of things, but have never put it on a pizza. Go figure??? Great movie choice, by the way. Cooking is indeed an artform. I love Indian Food. Or anything with lamb. take care.

Hello there Mom and daughters....Thank you for your sweet comments. Yes, our blog backgrounds are similar...imagine that. It's a pleasure to meet you. So, you also live in Northern Ca....Another thing in common. I just followed you back. Your pizza sounds wonderful and with the movie, under the Tuscan Sun puts it over the top. I love that movie. So, I see Nel is getting married? Congrats! How exciting. Enjoy your week-end. I will be clogging at the fair this week-end.

Love that you made the pizza in a
9x13 dish! I have to rememember that next time I am grabbing for the old boring pizza pan.

And, I think any Diane Lane movie is perfect. If she and John Cusack would star in a movie together I think that would simply be perfect...
