À bientôt, Paris!

Bonjour and thank you to our dear friend Anita at Castles Crowns and Cottages for inviting us to her Paris Link Party!

Jess and my mom adore Paris, but I was especially excited for this post because in just a few short months I will be leaving on a very special trip...Can you guess where? ( ;

My fiance and I have decided there could be no place more romantic for our honeymoon than Paris.

We've already started dreaming about how we'll spend our days...

Exploring the city by metro,

browsing the endless galleries of the Louvre,

climbing the steps of the Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking view of the City of Lights,

attending an opera at the Palais Garnier or a cabaret at the world famous Moulin Rouge,

or just strolling hand in hand through the enchanting French gardens.

We look forward to taking in the awesome grandness

and the exquisite detail

of this magnificent city

as we celebrate our new life together. We hope you'll bid us a bon voyage and check back for all the fun photos we'll have to share!

"Love is the greatest refreshment in life."
~ Pablo Picasso ~

Now on with the Paris Link Party! The girls at Red Rose Alley look forward to meeting YOU in Paris.

À tout à l'heure!

MERCI MES AMIES for such a lovely tribute and enthusiasm for this lovely city. AND YOU, THE BRIDE!! What a perfect honeymoon my dear. When Ruben and I were there now 10 years ago, we did EVERYTHING you are mentioning here. Just today Ruben was telling me with a fond tone in his voice that we must go back. You literally find another facet of yourself there. Maybe because there is so much STIMULATION that makes you wonder. Either way, enjoy your new lives together and THANK YOU ALL for your love and kindnesses to me!

Beautiful! You really are a gifted photographer. I love the red windmill building amongst the drab colors of the city and I love that rose on the stepping stones. It should be on the front cover of a mystery romance novel!

So nice to meet you too! What a beautiful post. Your images are all so enchanting. I have to admit that this party has been a little hard for me - it just makes me ache to go back, but now I have so many ideas of things to do - Lost Past Remembered said she gets to Paris, goes out and gets goodies and starts her trip with a picnic on the hotel bed! Does that sound fun?

I just love your red rose at the end of the post. Tres romantique!

Jacqueline said...

Somehow I missed that you are spending your honeymoon there! Wow, I am so jealous. We went last year for our 32nd anniversary and I said I wanted to go back for every anniversary - you will love it even more starting your life together there. Congratulations!

G'day Sheri.
I have to say...your Paris post gave me itchy feet and a unsettled heart. This may sound strange, but it was 'in a good way!'
I had actually happily resigned myself to the thought that we (my Knight and I) would never actually
venture to the other side of the globe and visit Paris. Yes it was always going to just be a dream of mine. But while reading your Paris post...I found myself saying out loud, "We really must do this one day..." ;-)
I know your honeymoon WILL be UNFORGETABLE!!!!!! Wishing you EVERY MOST WONDERFUL moment in Paris!
