Lovely Day

My sweet and funny sister-in-law met me at the wineries last weekend.  I always enjoy seeing the scenery when I go there, and I took a few pictures along the way.

Some pretty and exotic flowers.

The vineyards in winter.

Cougar guarding the winery.

Aging the wine in the oak barrels.

Loved these creative labels.

We had a great day at the wineries.  This was my favorite sign of the day.

Diana, I actually was the designated driver. My husband and his sister got a chance to spend some time together. I was busy taking pictures. hehe

Oh what fun you had. The bottles and labels are really lovely. I like the "Yes Dear"! Haha..they have a great sense of humor..love the flowers too. The Birds of Paradise are a very interesting flower. We used them a lot in the floral design class.
Can you ever imagine coming face to face with a cougar? Yikes too scary!

What lovely photos to capture memories of a lovely day! I , too, love wine labels. When I'm buying wine for a gift I often just buy it because I know my friend will love the label! The best one I ever got had James Dean on the label for my childhood friend! She still has it, of course! Now the Angelica wine with that drippy top would really seduce me!!

What a lovely day you had. Did you taste a lot of wine! So nice to see flowers outside this time of year. Great pictures! Are you enjoying your new camera? Oh, I think I would love to live in California if the homes were more affordable and if the traffic wasn't so busy. Love, the weather in California.

It snowed here in Michigan today.

Have a great weekend Sheri!

SHERI DARLING!!!!!!

Oh, those BIRD OF PARADISE flowers bring back HUGE memories of growing up in L.A.! My parents had these all around our California stucco cottage.

My dear heart, thank you for your visit. Your love of birds equals mine, and yes, when I found the picture of that amazing aqua-breasted bird, I knew I had to use him! THANK YOU for your kind compliments on my work. We all have wings; we just need to discover them and use them.

HAVE A PERFECT DAY! Anita
