There's nothing like some chocolate after lunch. These pictures are taken in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego.
And my favorite....
We drove to Pacific Beach in San DIego and did some shopping. I loved this artwork.
This outpost store has to be one of the most unique, interesting, and wonderful stores I've ever been to. Me and Jess stayed in there for so long just looking. They have sections of the stores that had different cultures, and they had a section with the most whimsical and beautiful mermaids I've ever seen. I bought one that I will show you later. It was called the San Diego, CA PANGAEA Outpost.
Hope you enjoyed our little trip to San Diego.
Have a good week ahead.

Cool Pics! I love San Diego....the waves, warm water, shops, the people, food. There's no place that i would rather be.
Mona, I didn't see your comment on Home Treasures until now cause we had other posts after that, but to get back to you....I love Jess' picture too. In fact, I want one for my house. To me, it means something different than what it means to Jess, but we both agree that she is an intriguing American woman. Nel does tea time every day. After a long day of work, a cup of tea is just the thing she needs. I love Mom's gravy boat. There were a few other things I wanted to include like these candlestick holders that belonged to her mom, the wedding dress doll that she made us, and the black purse that looks like the 20's. Thanks for your comments. I know Nel and Jess love getting them from their Aunt Mona.

Well done on your new blog! I adore the colors and how happy, bright, and cheerful it is. Thanks for inviting me to follow your blog. It is a pleasure to do so. I have enjoyed it so far already, and I look forward to getting to "know you" better. If you are interested, I have two other blogs as well, if you would like to see them. They are each very different.
You posted to our family blog at The Altar.
I also have http://daysease.blogspot.com/ and tonguetriedbilinguist.blogspot.com/
Hope you have a lovely evening. Oh, I really appreciated your photos of the evening sky, sun setting. sigh... Love that time of day as well. And... I was wondering... Would I be able to post the image of the Welcome Flag with many languages on it onto my tonguetriedbilinguist blog? I would certainly credit your blog and name, if that is okay. Please let me know.
Blessings,
Celita :-)
Oh, also... would you consider adding "subscription by email"? Go onto the "design" button at top righthand side of the blog... up there on right by Dashboard button. then click on an empty "add something here". You will find the "Add Subscription by email" button towards the top. Hope that is okay. Have a great night!!
I love San Diego! It is such a beautiful and clean place. My son lives in La Mesa which is about a 20 min drive from SD airport. I was due to visit there this yr but with my surgery and still eating a certain way I have had to call that off. I want to do the Old Town. I have read some on it. I think that would be so cool. Cory has taken me to Julian, I have been to Temecula, La Jolla and places around there. I have been to Sea World and we usually stay in Del Mar when I am there. But I was so impressed with SD my first time out.
