Family And Fundraisers

I just got back from my trip to my hometown, and I'm a little tired from all the travels and driving, so this will be a short post with just a few pics.  We had a fun time, and I met with my girlfriends one night for appetizers, and I saw many other friends at the fundraiser dinner.  I got to see my family every day, and the best part was hugs and kisses from the grandgirls.  We ate a lot of good food, and we all met at our favorite Mexican taqueria, which is the best in town.  People actually come from different parts of California to eat at this wonderful restaurant.  Nel brought me a gift, which I'll share later.  Mia lost her tooth right at the restaurant, and the tooth fairy put $10 under her pillow that night.👸  The dinner at the fundraiser was chicken, beef, salad, rolls and butter, and they served  Baklavah for dessert.  I'll show more of my trip next time, but for now, I'm pooped.  ; )

Love ... Love ... your photos of you and I can see the joy of being with family and friends.
Fun photo op on loosing that tooth. Wow $10.00 is a very generous tooth fairy. Back in my day, of course I'm older than dirt, I was lucky to get a quarter! (:0)
Umm, yumm on Baklavah. Its so yummy.
Rest well my friend.

How wonderful to have this adventure and see so many dear ones. Your "grandgirls" are growing up so very fast. Love good Mexican food, now wondering where this lovely restaurant is and what the name is? Hugs!

I've been waiting on your post...I knew you would have some really fun pictures to share. Yay for Mia...lost a tooth and the tooth fairy was very gracious. It is always good to visit with family and get those big ol' warm hugs. I know you miss them all a lot. Glad the fundraiser was a success and that everyone enjoyed the evening. Mexican Food!! this is my kind of language for sure. Great food, great fellowship and lots of laughs...can't beat it. Great photos and I'm looking forward to the rest of the story...get some rest... hugs to you.

Sherri, you are a very pretty gal. For real. Inside and out.
I am glad you had such a wonderful time - I know you enjoy this every year. And nothing like kisses from the little ones.
Mia got $10 for a tooth - I guess the price has gone up.
Did you give your daughter the Charolette candle? She looked so happy. What were the costumes the kids were in about? The meal sounded good - I love baklava. And the gift bags were so pretty. Glad you are home safe.

It's wonderful to be with family and friends in your hometown.
I'm looking at baklava, a very nice cake!
We're also planning a get-together for our high school classmates this year, I hope we'll all get together.

**the costumes were from the photo booth that is set up at the dinner every year - hats, fans, feather boas, and more. It's a fun and festive booth to take pictures.
